Very dear mhags - you and family, with Haggis cuddling - stupid &fingers bashing keys and praying that all of this, sent and shared in the ether, can somehow be something more.

I just looked in again after ages away and saw your post, mhags. I'm sending you love and strength in abundance.
Hello again lovely people. I didn't mean to wander off for a while but things got busy and I somehow lost the habit. Anyway, I shall post my pleasures and then start on a big catch up read.
Five pleasures for Wednesday:
1. Good chat with my father on the phone this evening (plus waves from my mum who apparently wasn't able to get up from her recumbent position on the sofa to reach the phone).
2. Spent the morning catching up with lots of work - woke early so I started at 7 - then the afternoon at the allotment which is proving an absolute joy at the moment. I'm still digging and clearing land but am just starting to get stuff planted as well.
3. Cheap and cheerful bought mushroom risotto for supper - not very o/s but very convenient and tasty.
4. Woman serving in the local DIY/ironmongers shop made me laugh. She's good fun.
5. Went back to the allotment with DS1 after 7 and he helped me sort out some practical stuff that was much easier with two pairs of hands. The little sliver of a moon was so pretty in the very clear darkening sky as we were leaving.
Sweet dreams and hugs to all

My pleasures for today.
1. Although a bit cooler, it was still sunny.
2. More college work done.
3. Managed to put netting up next to hedge to stop little dog hiding where he can't be seen.
4. Met a friend for coffee and cake and put the world to rights.
5. Thinking about what I want to do when I'm made redundant in the summer.0 -
McHags: You are in my thoughts, big big hugs.
Just a gentle pleasure from me of I've got the job from yesterday.0
