  • Put kettle on, proper tea for all. Frith, BoPsie's is on its fourth mutation. Now where is BoP. Mid SparraLands.

5 BoPdie is unable to shoulder the post this eve as our inter wizardry thingy is being changed over, like that. From one to another. So here goes. Normal, cough cough, fifth mutation will occur the morrow.

4 Work was ok, seems like the drill squad from last plaice I shirked in Novern SparraLands is coming together. Digs are in mid SparraLands, work is in Hertz. Good plaice for BoP.

3 Nows I got digs, I will be testing people's on free net of inter. But for now. Brown soup time. Nice and quiet. Plaice is tucked with jobbers, and everyone is here for a buck. Fast buck at that, kerching.

2 Night BoP is only one of home wards, and missing BoPsie. Beat her again this eve. We have cross words every day, and in twenty five minutes, she got a right thrashing. Two nights running! Times Concise Crossword. She did not get PAIR, STEADY was Brace. Wobbleade time. Cheers.

1 Watch now the politicians, go inn the empty rooms. Promise you a miracle, only to be entombed. Day by day, you remember their fellowship and Tom and Jerry cartoons.

Time to end the Grecian dream of democracy

Bit of a strange day today. Neighbour came round and had a fit of shouting at me (that I didn't reply quickly enough to her message about the septic tank and that there are some old empty cans of cat food in my garden). Unfortunately, she chose to shout at me on a morning where her sons had been particularly horrendous - running around in my garden, scaling the fence, being rude, running around my garden WITH WEEDKILLER and finally saying to smaller son "You can't talk, hahaha" :-/ I pointed this out to her and she didn't respond to the running around being annoying but said they "wouldn't have said that about smaller son, I know my children". Well, yes they did. Anyway, she went out after that.

Then a friendly Conservative appeared bearing election material. He wasn't the MP but a district councillor. He talked for a while then handed me a leaflet but it was not for my MP!! I'm just into the next constituency. He looked mighty confused when I told him who my MP is (another Conservative - sigh) then pulled the leaflet back out of my hand and walked off!

    Anyway, pleasures for today:

    1) Good to get up after almost no sleep.

    2) Sons reappeared briefly to put up a shed their father has given them (neighbour was shouting at me while I was standing on tiptoes holding the roof on and bigger son was drilling it). Shed looks OK now.

    3) Swept and weeded the garden.

    4) Brother came for lunch and Wii playing.

    5) Sent the paperwork off for new job.

    6) Had haircut.

    7) Sainsburys and got new bulb for sons' lava lamp

    8) Gave stairs their last coat of varnish.

    9) Watching the Island in front of the stove now.

    My pleasures for yesterday

    1. Coffee in bed by dh.
    2. Lovely sunshine and another walk with doggies in forest.
    3. Travelling 1st class on train for same price as standard ticket.
    4. Seeing my mum, daughter, son and grandson.
    5. Visiting my friend, joined by another friend, wine & food flowed lots of laughter and chatter. Doesn't seem over a month since I last saw them.

Sending Bopsie get well wishes. Maybe some goose grease would help?

    1. A really rapid wake up call this morning - turned on the cold tap to rinse the bath before I showered. Turned it off while I got ready, stood in the bath, turned the shower on. Forgot to turn the hot tap on, I've never moved so quickly in my life! Wrapped myself in my bath robe and sat on the loo seat shivering and laughing at the same time :rotfl:
    2. After a much warmer shower I opened the bedroom curtains to a beautiful sunny morning. Definitely an OS pleasure
    3. Went shopping with DD and DGD3 which is always a pleasure. DGD3 has a weekend job now so took great pleasure in being able to pay her way for drinks etc.
    4. Stopped at a tucked away garden centre on the way home, bought most of what I needed for this year and spend much less than I would in the bigger garden centres.
    5. Got back to DD's house where the UKIP supporter (there can surely be only one in her small town) had dropped a leaflet through the letterbox. Trouble is they've had hundreds of leaflets printed with the the wrong date :D. I don't think the people who turn up to vote on Tuesday 5th will be very impressed!
    6. Got home and let the pets out, DN'bour was in her garden and asked if I fancied a trip to a garden centre tomorrow - well it would have been rude to say no, wouldn't it? But better leave my plastic and most of my cash at home. Shame :(

    Sweet dreams :)

You neighbour sounds horrible Frith!!! Sometimes I feel sorry for my neighbour with the amount of yelling at each other my kids are doing at the moment!!!

    1. Another sunny day - spent it in the garden - weeded two beds so just the pots to sort then planting can begin!!! (the problem with all this gardening is my house looks like a tip!)
    2. Kids played out again
    3. Lovely curry using an adapted fat club recipe to healthy too - used up some of the left over lamb from the weekend
    4. Lovely evening so went for a walk with 3 kids and Doodle - kids not impressed with my 5k route! but I enjoyed it!
    5. Reverend mother rang - she's in Scotland and has been to see my Gran - she's frail but still enjoying eating chocolate!!! (not bad seeing as she's 97 and has no teeth!)
  • Not a very productive day yesterday DD - building works on school field opposite my house and vibrations/noise are horrendous !

    Still have a few pleasures

    1. sorted 2 more piles of paperwork. Have utility bills back to 1998 must chuck them out

    2. Three loads of washing done and line dried

    3. went out for lunch to get away from the noise mostly. Not very MSE but got out in the sunshine for a bit

    4. made a big pot of beef & butternut squash chilli for tea

    5. went to bed early with a headache but slept well, until DS got up at 6.15 to go to work and then dozed back off until 8.30 when diggers and building work commenced again.

Am going to try and get the garden done today. Have a good day everyone x

    1. Having some much-loved mummy-daughter time with DD, flat-sitting for chums :)

    2. Had an awesome day in Winchester yesterday.

    3. The lovely man in the market who gave us a free blueberry and pear scone when we complimented him on the ones we had bought for our pudding earlier :) Carb overload notwithstanding, it made a lovely late afternoon tea

    4. I can't wait for DD to bake some bread using the flour we bought at the water mill in Winchester. The nicest NT property I've ever been to.

    5. I've found last year's plans for 3 RE lessons, another thing done on my smug list!

    6. Am doing very little work this week, but have managed to get handwriting homeworks until July ready, and have planned an observed class worship that will hopefully knock the Head's socks off!

    7. Having so many cuddles and lots of silliness with DD - she really is my best friend, even though she hasn't yet done the washing up after lunch....!

    8. The SUNSHINE!! (Although we packed for bad weather and so DD now has a new summer wardrobe....and we both have flipflops :) )
