Vicky: I know the pain with the arms, I’ve been doing the arm weights for a couple of weeks now and I will need to keep it up for a while.
DH was in the garage while I was clearing the wardrobe when there was a house shaking bang from the garage, I’ve never moved so fast and the neighbours came out and over I was convinced he would be in many pieces - when a sheepish DH emerged having accidentally exploded a tyre.
1. I have my fingers crossed I put a lot of work into applying for what looks like a wonderful role, desperately trying not to call them and chase.
2. This may sound daft but I’m happy as I’ve finished the clothes sorting what a sigh of relief. The wardrobe was emptied and re put in today, and this morning I got up and went straight to a full outfit, perfect. I did a lot of trying on and checking items some of it was hard to let go of but all done now and it took a long while but pleased now. I am sure there are a few items lurking I can still get rid of in time. DH is happy with what I have done, and is happy for me not to get rid of any more.:)
3. Sundays leftovers transformed into sweet and sour pork, but cheating a little with oven chips.;)
4. Arm weights done.
5. I am about to spend the evening starting to clean the caravan inside at least, polishing and loading a few things. DH while not totally better wants to get away also so we will give it a try and see how he is.:)0 -
DigforVictory - my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Just popped in quickly as lots of stuff needs to be done this evening.
1. On Sunday we went to Chatham historic dockyard with free tickets as part of Kent big weekend. Enjoyable and interesting but cold!

3. Free coffee from W8rose.
4. Daffodils in the house.
5.Found receipt I was looking for for DH.0 -

The fall was lower this side. Now you can reach over, and help those to climb the wall instead!0 -

A quick good morning from me as I must not procrastinate any longer!
It's my sneaky extra day off today , that I'd requested as an aside to my first weekend off since August!!
Have already put 3 loads of washing on, put the dishy on , chatted with friend from home and watched 1/3 of Poldark.
Yesterday was our first cold day of the year ...so far! It was 12o and felt so damp and raw and chilly. The heating did not go on though.....the blankets came out!
Work was fine and dandy.
Poor DD2 had a fainting episode at school...the pleasure was I was on my way home anyway so just went straight to pick her up. Wheelchaired across school grounds to the car, stood up and the colour just drained from her. Sent to bed! She had some dinner , a bath and then sent to bed. Still in bed now. It's the last day of term and she has 3 periods of sport that she can't participate in because of hip, so I'm thinking bed is the best place for her.
My Marks and Sparks delivery finally came.:):) yay to free delivery to Oz and all bought in the sale
Had a bath to warm up .
Late night jam on toast with OH...rock'n'roll! I'm usually away to bed early as I'm up early but had a late pass as I'm on a day off!
Dog snuggles.......our own personal canine hot water bottle!
DFV sending hugs from afar to you all. Hoping that all arrangements go smoothly and that you find your bugler . Give your boys a big hug from Australia x0 -
DD if Vjsmum can find 10 eligible bachelors to go on a boat with give me a shout - as long as they don't mind my kids tagging along!!!
Ampersand - good to see you - you have been dearly missed! Your French adventures sound fun/interesting/scary all at once!
1. Very strange weather here today - sun, hail, rain wind, sun - not sure where the pleasure is except that I took time to notice the weather in an otherwise hectic day
2. Very nice home made chicken korma for dinner - only had 2 chicken breasts so added lots of veg to fill it out - which also meant DD2 wouldn't eat it so I have a portion for work! (I didn't deliberately put in veg to stop her eating it even though she thinks I did! She could have picked out the bits she didn't like!)
3. NSD
4. Payday
5. worked out a way of doing barge holiday without delaying my debt free date - even if it means living on lentils for the next 3 months!!!0 -
Wondering where you store so many bins, DD! Here we have, and have had for years. one for waste and one for recycling, although we do have to take glass to the bottle bank ourselves. We can leave old electrical items in a carrier bag by the bins which is a great help.
BoP I too am on the borders of two counties, the sign for Beds is a few yards along from the sign for Herts in the other direction. I've noticed this a lot, and often wonder where the no man's land belongs?!
Have a good rest of the week, take care and be (a little bit) good. Back on Monday0 -
Wednesday pleasures include
A day off work, didn't get up until 7.30am.
Nice chat with friend back home
Ironed to the rest of poldadk ....sigh!
Walked up our Main Street (wearing a wooly dress....first time on this year..and wait for it..tights ..brrrrr!) prescriptions, bakers, florist and fruit and veg all carted home.
Sat and watched Holby with DD2
Snooze on sofa
Washing brought in off line, all dry.
Having pasta with cram, bacon and huge mushrooms I bought rtc at green grocers , for dinner.
So a nice break in my working week , not done too much but just enough!
Have a good day0 -
