Oh, it isn't my money - work pay for it. I wouldn't afford it myself. I find it all a bit embarrassing, actually. Having said that, the folks in business are just ordinary people like you and me - either work are paying or they are treating themselves as part of a special holiday.
Definitely mummy and daddy should sign your reading challenge - what a super idea, and great that you are doing it too.
My friend in Dubai travels business class with work and steerage when it's personal. Sadly, teaching as a bog standard foot soldier won't bump me up. Just a little dream though of that legroom.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -
1. I've had another 'good' observation this week, yay!! Really thought the lesson was going badly and am so relieved - next observation coming up in a few weeks. Gulp. But, it's far better than when I was training and had one every week, for too long with nasty people who wanted me to fail.
2. Went on a religious retreat as an Inset - far too much prosecco, far too late a night, and fascinating and informative talks about faith. All in all, a great experience
3. Bought a gorgeous spring/summer skirt in a chazzer for only £4 this morning - and even better, I'd misread the price as £6 so really got a bargain! And it's got sequins on it, love a bit of sparkle!
4. My co-teacher came over to mine on Friday and we have divvied up some planning for the holidays between us. It never ends!
5. I have applied to be a judge on the 500 words competition. My class are so excited, as most of them will be entering it as well.
6. DD had a sleepover in my bed last night and in a mo, once I pick her up from a party, she'll be having another one
7. Enjoyed the snow on Tuesday - but was relieved it didn't last long.
8. DD chose a new recipe and cooked us a smashing dinner tonight.
9. Have taken today off (well, nearly) and really enjoyed sitting down reading the Saturday papers without feeling too guilty.
10. Went to the library and got a great book out.
11. Thought of mhags as I tucked into a scone in our favourite caf!A warmed, plain scone with awesome homemade jam, nomnom.

well & clearly my brain had crossed over. it was the circus! (perhaps i am dreamig of seeing the ballet?)
bleuh footie as the top 3 edge away bop
welcome home vjsmum i too like turbulence, but haven't had anything too scary
1) kind doggies let me have a bit of a lie in after my late night
2) went to ikea with mum and dd2. took 3 hours rather than 90 minutes due to crash, but drivers seemed to be OK
3) ikea at last and straight to restaurant. dd2 and i shared 20 meat balls, her with chips me with mash. cheaper than 2 separate meals, and 15 each would have been piggy
4) have bought 8 cushions for my kitchen. they are loverly and now we can have comfie bums
5) saw bed that will be ideal for both dd1 and ds's rooms. it's a day bed that converts into single or kingsize bed. picture doesn't do it justice. will take them to 'view' (ds can check for length cos he's 6'4 but of course with a king size he can do the hypotenuse). we actually went to look at furniture for dd2's room and she too found plenty to please. so a good dayMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

So tired!
Pleasures for today:
1) A lie in - hoorah!
2) Drove to Solihull and got the new Ebay fireplace. Helpful and chatty man gave me a hand putting it in the car.
3) On to Coventry! Funny driving past the ex MrB's. Lunch in Ikea.
4) On to the market to get the £1 bags of fruit and veg. Got bananas, pears, aubergines and peppers plus cashew nuts.
5) MrN helped me carry the fireplace into the house.
6) Chips from the van.
7) Enjoyed watching casualty.0 -
DD don't worry about the MS Circus, we all misread things sometimes. I guessed what you meant so didn't mention it
. Would love to see the ballet also one day.
1. nsd/npd
2. Took up my bedroom curtains, yards of them! Did them in situ so I was standing by the window in lovely sunshine for a couple of hours.
3. In all that time I only saw one car come into our little square, I'm so fortunate to live in such a peaceful situation, I count my blessings every day.
4. Gave ToppyDog a good groom and trim, tidied up his paws and trousers. He looks very smart now
5. Watched Ross Kemp's Extreme World. More blessing to be counted that we don't live in fear of drug barons, murderers, rapists and the like.
6. Spurs won
