  • Morning all !

LFS (((Hugs))) read your blog hun xx Our free spirited fairy seems to be having a rough time of it. Not good :( I hope things get better for you all soon xx

Frith - naughty me . I thought bet I have err... been acquainted with the ex jockey .. until you said "posh" :rotfl::rotfl:

    1. Fancy pants meat did not arrive on said day . Supposed to arrive today now , no doubt OH gave them a flea in their ear as all paid up front .

    2. OH's happiness is directly linked to what he has in the bank , which is sad and he has not got paid yet....happy days . The bank of Chicken will no doubt be called upon ....Not much to buy though :)

3.Went to an empty Mr. T at 7.30 am and cashier was so chuffing rude to me for no good reason that I asked for the manager and said my piece etc .Too much adrenaline for one small body that early in the day..too unacceptable to ignore that level of rudeness though and YES I have worked in a supermarket many years ago but wouldn't have dared to talk to a customer in such a manner.

4.Bought some Newkie Brown to put in my HM steak pie which I will have for tea tonight. Might drink the rest .It could be the law VJsmum;)

have a good day all !
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A
  • Scored!

I see mince tarts, Blustery JimJams, Maplins, Cumbrian walks, now did you go in the Pie Shop just down from Station? BoP's bin around a bit.

5 You know who wears the Apron!
    2prtm5v.jpg
Get Inn. Ovening now. Not that water ingested muck the emporiums sell. Smothered in Honey mustard glaze with Sage and Rosemary. Hand scored for supreme crackling. Ready at abouts 1 O'clock in the Afternoon. Mustard readied for sarnies. Get some. Be careful though when hand scoring, those knives are super sharp. Yummy, It's Christmas.

4 Watched Morgan Freeman on Sky Arts last eve, on about the Taming of the Shrew. Bit like Kiss me Kate! Shame the others only put on carp this time of year. Note, the BBC are fill their schedules with three repeats of the Trek Movies! Nothing new! Good of Free trial at Prime River.

3 Cor, smell that gammon. Fumigating through the house of BoP. Please be aware that the honey was dated November 2008. Used again and again. Mmmmm.

2 Day, BoP has just got the goose out. He is gently defrosting ready to get the stuffing, apple and mustard, homemade version, with sausages and bacon bits. Yummy. More on this later this week.

1 Together you will be even. If not, then their is only trouble. Just like Kate, she was even with Petruchio.

Posts have upped and orfed again, ditto some Thanks, ditto phone calls, but at least..........

    1. ......spoke for quite a bit to France hier soir before that inevitable happened. Had missed calls earlier and heard only msg with major rant at 'blutty...[Other Initial Starting Letters Are Available] '.....Machines' in cut-glass accent cutting in and out. Played it back and we did laugh; it's very funny.
'Why aren't you here? x and x were asking me today...' etc.etc, does give me substitute glow.

    2. Emporium had run out of free papers! This will never do - esp. when the Heir Apparent had slaughtered some of his happy cows for &burgers, reduced their on-offer price to ensure that & paid but fourteen shillings for each of four packs of four. Happy sums:-) to pass on to friend in next village.

    3. Out at first light to see if not-chipmunk has partaken of nice blue munch. Not sure yet. Blowing a gale out there, still. Jay was instructing me to hurry up with their good stuff. Did so.

    4. More written-up gingerbread delivered. Recipients seemed pleased. More posting done through gritted wallet-zip-teeth. Only one left to do.

    5. ISIHAC and News Quiz rpts on r4x the last 2 mornings and red Sony DAB+ radio back in stock at Mr T's lowest price on web. Extra handy for car/foreign climes, so [another?]present to self will be sorted today.

    6. Skitting about on youtube from one fave to another and putting them on the loop:
Lullay my Liking[Coventry Carol] / Sussex carol / Adam Laye y-Bounden and many so on.
    #
Frith - what has happened with bathroom shenanigans?

Vicky - big youtube thankyou))))) and ditto our good bloke Justin's DID. Add Pope Francis too, after yesterday's excellent rant:

Just put all the Thanks back, posted and.... GONE again! Oh well, here we go ....again again again.

Joints bop has known[tum-ti-tum]...........expect knocks on t'door about 13 bells today[5 osp's Coach filling up fast. Does Raffles know?]

lfs - have been following your blog anew. King John's treasure is still thought to be somewhere in The Wash. I declare it yours for the finding, like this one last week:

This time last year you were recovering from major emergency surgery. You are with us: that's what matters.

    Some ridiculous po-faced comments though.

It's great fun and Andy Street should be brought onside.

Only thing, they need to sit on the ball to make it the right shape.

  • Unfortunately, at this point BoP was going to show you his nice ham sandwich, freshly made with mustard. Rubs Tum. Think of the weight, oh boy, is so good, the loaf has suddenly disappeared.

Raffles, who detects decent food, is searching high and low for the joint. No worries, is cooling off in top oven, what is left of it! And the crackling, my word!

BoPsie also has a liking for it!

Hugs (((((LFS))))), I have also caught up with your blog.

    Five pleasures for Tuesday:

    1. Huge pile of wood in back garden with a big tarp fastened down all round it. :T Delivery guys were really efficient in stacking it for us.

    2. A&C veg box delivery (which I can only get over the holidays because of delivery time unpredictability and term time commitments). This week's included organic clementines with leaves. Such a lovely thing to have at this time of year. The colours are vibrant.

    3. Have now worked out the meal plan for the next week more or less. DSs have requested mozzarella and pesto quorn fillets with baked beans and chips for Christmas lunch... :rotfl: Oh well, that's easy.:D

    4. Gradually getting the house tidy. Have moved my work space around so that I could get at the wool/fabric/sewing kit stuff behind the table. Decluttering that heap is a project for over Xmas.

    5. Playing scrabble with DS1 sitting infront of the fire (practice run before tomorrow's game with my parents). We haven't made time to play since the move but we are both on form still and made our collective third highest score. DS1 also managed a 91 point word (7 letter word on a triple word square) which put him solidly in the lead and he didn't shut up about it for the rest of the game. If he does that again, I shall send him over to your place BoP and he can play scrabble with the professionals. :D

    Sweet dreams

Chicken - "posh" in double barrelled surname and schooling only. :-/

Ampersand - the builders were written to on 17th November and I know they read it on the 19th as it was recorded delivery. No reply... Have paid nothing. Have offered something. CAB say to send 2nd letter that I am paying another company to do work and I may make a claim if the work costs more than the original quote if new builders find something massively wrong that they have to repair (I don't think they will). Looking forward to the first weekend of Jan when the boys' room is being re-plastered (at last!)

Also - if you are getting pop up adverts on websites, you've got the same malware smaller son had on his laptop. A good thing is to try bbc.co.uk and you can be sure no adverts should appear there. If they do, I will try and remember how we deleted all the faults through lots of different files...

Pleasures for today (Christmas Eve Eve).

    1) Bit of a lie in.

    2) Went to the allotment and got potatoes (Charlottes), parsnips and some tiny sprouts. No one had said Merry Christmas to me before (well, you don't keep saying it to your own family, do you?) but the 2 blokes on there today were very jolly in their Christmassy goodbyes to me!

    3) Dug over a bit more and took rubbish from there to the tip.

    4) Smaller son went to his friend's and then onto the cinema with him!

    5) Had a pre-Christmas tidy, cleaned the floors, brought more logs in.

    6) Tea at mum and dad's.

    7) Got home to sit by the stove and watch Holby City and the Wrong Mans.

    8) Most exciting news til last! My new niece/nephew will probably coming sooner than we thought. Looks 99% likely a c section will be needed so he/she will be here mid January!

Sorry not caught up on posts yet, but have caught up on a blog, Hugs LFS.
1.Laid in but just a little.
2.Went to the in laws who live a fair way, we were early so stopped in at the main town centre near them and they had a mini German market for want of better words :o but great street food, gifts and drink, we found a very apt and extremely cheap metal sign £3:T, mulled cider and street food burger which was amazing in our hands wrapped up in the sights and sounds of it all:). It’s not very mse but we have gone without other things and we have told various providers where to go so there will be savings all be it slowly.
3.We originally stopped as we had to sort out our internet it was easily sorted at the 3 store they were so helpful, when we got back home we popped the sim in it set itself up and everything connected it’s wonderful.:T
4.Had a really nice time at the in laws and spread some festive cheer.
    5. We have had an absolutely pathetic answer through on some problems we have had but the pleasure is we are saying sod it accept it, life lesson learned and move on some things are a closed chapter for a new year.
    6. Late night as only just in from in laws and the animals need to run around until they are tired not us :rotfl:… Very full day tomorrow but full of nice bits, cleaning diy sorting.
7 And DH’s main present arrived early this morning, I didn’t expect this side of Christmas at all as it’s from the US, now I have to wrap the awkward so n so present that is not dh :rotfl:
