    Another deffo. NO C.i.N. here.

Even greater blasphemy to certains here - snapped out of car sharpish just now, to avoid impending prog. cumberbleuughch+wimmins. Eeyurchhhh!!! - it's near impossible to truly, spellingly convey an exact expostulation, so that can be...

    1.

    2. Same shared fog day sensations, sparrer - and reflective mood, continuing from post passim.

    3. So, quick decision for early adjacent village communion, then back for morning prayer. Glad I did. 2 somethings, one at each, were extraordinarily pertinent. This besides: hands on ancient timbers of 800year+ pews, deeply feeding of shallow &soul.

    4. No idea when I last deliberately bought crimbo paper - have 3for2'd late arvo. @emporium, where more rtc's, esp. 3for2 helga beans[& faves], reeled £19.42 back to £7.49. Rcvd £2.99 for each 3x29p trolleyed. Thenking hew.

    5. Already in attire of night. Can I be bothered with hurrrchhhrs? V. good to see others, inc. David Blunkett, up-rising in protest against soap-making oickery of egocentric o'connor edit-non-person. & will join all @ barricades post-spits when next in London Town.
Thank goodness for Mark Steel, John Finnemore, Miles Jupp currently and isihac return.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
    A quick five for today:

    1) Woke up to the sound of rain, but realised that, as it's Sunday, I didn't have to go out in it. :D

    2) Chatting to my DM about train times for our trip to Birmingham, now only a couple of weeks away. :j

    3) Isis being cuddly to the point of rather annoying - just go to sleep, cat!

    4) Curry for dinner - it was meant to be last night's dinner but I wasn't hungry enough, so I'll eat it tonight instead.

    5) Isis has now, finally, gone to sleep on her beanbag - thank goodness for a temporary lack of miaow! ;)
Back after a very long break!
  • Chicken: I wish it was being re stocked with Christmas nibbles already, the only thing we do already have is a vast turkey crown.
    1. We slept in till the afternoon a rather guilty pleasure.:o
    2. Brother has Christmas all sorted, and so do we just not organised enough to have wrapped it! Dad is deteriorating so we will be about this Christmas as we have a “feeling”, and it will be nice to be about.
    3. Watched some very poncy, but feel good Christmas films.
    4. Thought we would product test yellow stickers for dinner value range kiev through outs and tesco brand yellow stickers well yes you could tell lol, but the yellow sticker warm sticky toffee pud was false saving as I would by that full price and just wow, serious sugar come down now.:p:p
    5. Neighbours just quickly popped over and invited us to their wedding next year, didn’t even know they weren’t married lol..:rotfl:

    Evening all :)

PK, your 5. made me smile. :D
&, I agree with you totally about t'hurrrchhhrs. I am still sulking about Nigel and no longer listen regularly but this week I caught a key episode and had to listen to the omnibus today to find out what had been going on.:o What a miserable old mess!

    Five pleasures for Sunday:

    1. DS1 has returned home after his trip away.:)

    2. Tikka and rice for supper

    3. Have discovered that, with the c/h off, the woodburner gets the sitting room to about 20-21 degrees in the evening and my bedroom to 17 degrees which is very good. Need to check the temps in DSs bedrooms next.

    4. Mega clear out and hoover of my tiny bedroom. It's the only one in the house that appears to be getting a mold problem despite ventilation etc. Nipped it in the bud (I hope). Everything is now looking squeaky clean.

    5. As part of that clear out I also went through my clothes and have got them to an absolute minimum with a handful saved for when I've lost a bit more weight. I cut up an old jama top and old jama trews (mis-matching) which were full of holes and made ten rags for cleaning. I also went through a box of toiletries/meds and decluttered and reorganised them. All very satisfying. :D

    Sweet dreams

Ampersand - ooo, is ISIHAC back? I stopped listening to the Archers about 2 months ago, after 20 years of rarely missing an episode. I do follow it on Facebook where dozens of annoyed people complain about it each day...

    Pleasures for the weekend:

    Saturday

    1) A lie in!

    2) Bigger son was in a mood about something (can't have been me as I had just got up and made him coffee and toast) so decided to stomp off to his father's. He was going to tell his father to drive him home again with his bike. Well, I think the 4.5 mile walk probably calmed him down. But not as much as the 4.5 mile walk home again when he got there and no one was in. That's what happens if you don't take your mobile!

    3) Got lots of jobs done including some mould busting from the ceilings :-/

    4) Chips from the van.

    5) Enjoyed watching Strictly from the Tower Ballroom. We went to the Tower a few years back with no idea what it would be like and sons loved it so were watching with interest.

    Sunday

    1) A bit of a lie in.

    2) Tidied the garden - so many leaves!

    3) Bigger son went off on his bike (it was delivered eventually).

    4) Smaller son and I had a sneaky pre-Christmas lunch in Sainsburys as it was a special offer and very tasty.

    5) Went to the allotment for some rainbow chard. The back of my shed has fallen down :-( It looked like that was a possibility as the shed is cobbled together out of old doors and planks with plastic tacked on. Will have to push it over now and have a big bonfire.

    6) Tasty tea of chicken casserole with allotment grown turnips, parnsips, rainbow chard, tomatoes and onions.

    7) School friend came over.

  • Gosh, BoP has be in absentia for a couple pof days and half of yous lot churn into a BoPette! Really now. OK, so I did not pose my usual anti CiN, as the chief BoP, let you make your own mind up. Oh, boo gar, I see the stars of pop have been on the carpet again! Reminds me of some Buerke after dropping parcels.

Now for the news. BoP is no longer at the Salt Flats! Happy days. Bump.

.........no, you heard it here first, & having just made surreptitious and rare sortie over to book of visage, infers that Tony NewVoice is on Way Out, already [load pf bull?] and bop is newly parachuted in!....

Well, we all look forward to that. Clever beeb move, cost-cutting, no audition, and incorporating yellow thing prognostics under single script head of salary [9 out of 10 cats want it]

Last night we went and the town was painted red. As we left out the front, Raffles went out his flap, over gate and followed us to the Pond of Newts, Crested Great. He waited for our return, and leapt out and escorted us back to the premises. ]

    BoP is Over hung!

    Emergency Edit

Raffles, has taken exception to the desk toy Henry of BoP's possession. It has been decked. Raffles followed seconds later. No treats tonight!
