Hello from cold me( I know in a few months I will be moaning about being too warm again! ) ,

Well another busy day at work again, not much else to report really!
Made a nice macaroni for tea. We didn't go food shopping at the weekend, so I'm using what we have.

It stayed dry but was rather raw and cold all day. Washing drying on clothes horses over the heating vents....DD1 has been ironing.

Do have a lovely day :)
  • Oi, Mhags. Yous started with a grumble. naughty step for you, dear. Thoughts with them that need it, carefull with them nice Italians, MyMate, Raffles, in name as well as appearances, but do't let them eyes mislead you!!!! Hoovered the car, did you dip you hand between tthe seats for the bank of cash?

But short today as between preps and meets. Off to supplier tomorrow, boots to be on right foot.

5 Was out last night with BoPsie. She is watching the thirst daters. Gosh almighty, it must be the divorcee capital of South Gloucestershire. Well, I was only pulling a leg, of lamb!

4 Finally got player to work on website, more news later. No peeps yet. And for Sparra, wrong shaped ball.

3 No claw sandwiches again, just some sour grapes, cheese salad and another slice of that decent tart from yesterday.

2 BoPsie is looking at our summer holiday, and waxing the legs just in case, looks like the Minac again. More later.

1 Move along the bus now, nothing to see here!

    1) Air conditioning in my car. It's not very eco-friendly so I rarely use it, but it's lovely after a day in a hot, stuffy office.

    2) Received a free pack of fajita spice mix ordered from an MSE link a few weeks back.

    3) And also received the voucher for a packet of crisps I won in a competition.

    4) The lovely scent of fresh herbs while watering the garden.

    5) Isis finally being entirely happy to be outside, so I can keep the door open for air without scaring her into hiding.
Back after a very long break!

    2. Had a lovely day with the juniors at school, shame it was my last supply day, but we had fun sorting out the classroom and watching a movie! I would have preferred doing a bit of teaching, but apparently that's not the done thing on the last full day of school.

    3. Hopefully going back tomorrow lunchtime to see the leavers' assembly!

    4. Went to the school disco tonight :)

    5. DD sensibly decided to stay home as she has appreciated that a very busy weekend and the heat means that she's way too tired to enjoy bopping like a wild thing with my school.

    6. Really enjoyed the cleanliness of my car's interior :)

    7. Yummy leftovers for lunch.

    8. Stepped on the scales this morning and was pleasantly surprised - but will wait til I go back to the doctor's scales before I get too cocky! The batteries may be going in mine....

    9. Yummy soup for dinner.

    10. One day closer to going to Wales :)

    5. So she bought me ice cream and a bottle of wine and wouldn't take no for an answer.

    6. Am getting an electricity refund

    7. Am able to return some goods for full refund after complaining on FB.

    8. DH and I watching the evening primroses open up, so lovely.

    9. Glass of cold wine, crisp bread and blue cheese with DH before going to bed.

    10. Cup of camomile in bed, courtesy of DH.

Lots of pleasures! Good night all.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    1. DS2 cooked tea - I enjoyed it but too much paprika for DS1 and DH

    2. Afternoon at work not as bad as I thought it would be - someone was off.

    3. Only had to block 3 holes in fence where rabbits are coming in - an improvement on 7 holes and less evidence of new burrows.

    4. DS1 doing his own ironing - he is going away on Thursday with friends.

    5. Walking my dog early.

Okay pirate Pete I promise not to moan ( too much....'twas very foggy and cold)

I am home before I would normally be on the train!i have had a whole extra half hour of daylight than normal! Days are stretching out by the tiniest amount and I saw daffodils in gardens....that always makes me smile :)

Workety work was busy....changes ahead...very positive ones for me, will it go down well with everyone else...?? Will let you know as it happens!

A new ( to me ,she started when I was off) girl was in this afternoon to work with me and we closed together...hence being out earlier than normal. The two of us zoomed through the list! Same again tomorrow :)

My Cath Kidston delivery came.....I've been waiting since I came home for my delivery and slightly disappointed each day but hooray for spotty bags bought for half price :) ( shan't dwell on the £20 delivery)

Going to make chicken pies for tea and whist they are cooking I'm going to be decadent and have a bath!

Right , I'm off into my kitchen , will stack the heating on as the house is freezing and then relax with a UK magazine :)....such a rock and roll lifestyle!

    Have a lovely Tuesday :)

kittikins I must have missed your post but did you pull out of the flat contract?
    sparrer hugs!
dd you can have a hug too, as life decides where it's taking you.....I read somewhere recently, as one door closes another one opens .....but these corridors are a b - itch ! What will be will be x

Yes, sadly I had to pull out for my sanity and possibly health, due to the fact that up to 21 refuse bins were going to be coralled in a small enclosed area directly outside my bedroom window :( In my county we have food recycling bins as well as dry recycling and landfill...yuk!

The flat went from being a very cheap flat to one I'd have to be paid a lot of money to stay in, especially in the summer!
