Sitting down for what seems like the first time today! Have ran around like a blue @rsed fly all day.
A very busy day off so back to work for a rest tomorrow!

Got up ridiculously early at 4am.
Phoned one of my lovely friends back home ( my oh so wise friend) lovely to have a good blether with her.

Handyman from estate agent came round and fixed my front door. I only reported it yesterday so that was prompt service.

Ordered my online shopping for delivery tomorrow evening...saved $11 on delivery and still about $90 cheaper than I've been but still have a good store cupboard and freezer to use from.

Mad dash number 1: quick run through Salvos , bought a pair of jeans...checked online and they usually retail about $80... $7.25 .
I need full length trousers now summer is well and truly over.
New fruit and veg shop visited and topped up the fruit bowl and the veg box!

Mad dash number 2 : OH had a medical appointment with a new to him consultant. He was running 30minutes late.....poor person after us, doctor went out to his car and grabbed his lunch and then said I'll be as quick as I can!!

Home for 15 minutes and picked some late flowers and leaves and branches for a display in a vase on my front porch table.

Mad dash number 3: DD1 to physio.

    Home for half an hour

Mad dash number 4: both girls back to physio for a gym class.

Mad dash number 5: up to pharmacy..glad of a seat at this point!

Beautiful sunset on the walk home, stopped at chippy for a bag of chips for tea. Had planned on making chilli but that will do for tomorrow!

I ordered my highly attractive orthopaedic sandals ...in time for my winter/ summer holiday in a few weeks! No rain for 2 weeks please Scotland. I want my money's worth of these beauties! Have saved up for them.

Grabbed a pile of mags from the box at library. Shall read and return.

I'm looking forward to heading to bed tonight...bit too early yet. Masterchef to watch first! Do have a lovely Wednesday :)

McCulloch sounds like you had a lovely holiday and your new aid sounds ideal!
  • First dabble at this:

    1. Asleep by 8pm last night.
    2. Another 1lb lost, achieving 40lb weight loss for 2014.
    3. So I rewarded myself with two chocolate digestives first thing.
    4. Slowly but surely thinking less and less of a friend who cut me out... selfish cow.
    5. The story of the 6,000 chickens on the M62 made me smile for some reason.

    (6. My 9 month old puppy was let off the lead on the field for the first time last night, no dramas)
  • Let’s get ready to Bramble

Yes, foam beer is bad for you. So I think we can add that to the food list of no goo foods, together with the Tuna and Sweetcorn delicacies.

Rites, so what is app ning! A dog with trousers. Must see his clipped claws. I suppose he could be an old sea dog. Chocolate fudge and trifle. Sherry? New cat. Here kitty, Newbies again. And straight into the chocolate. After reading that, I am worried about ChickPolis!

5 Jenny is getting ready for her annual download, and remember, it stored every beat, so those who have been due the naughty stool in recent times, I suggest you hide right now. That of curse excludes DD and KK. Jenny’s check up is on Thursday. :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls

4 The guinea pig trials will continue in the race for life. Just what will be tirlaled next! Pills for thiss and that. Happy days :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls :heartpuls

3 Gosh lots of buzz going on this day. All thanks to no one.

2 Looks like by the time I get home this evening, BoPsie will have finished the apple pie. With ice cream. Now how good is that. Mind you BoP got a bit of a bee sting last night, Scampi, Youngs, fresh from the shoals of Fish Dock No: 1. With a hint of lemon. Served with chicken dippers and chilli sauce.

1 The chicks are on the street.

Ooh DS has just done a year of that for his GCSE - what would you like to know? :p

Though, according to him, it's all "really Boring" :rotfl:

Edit - though thinking about it, it isn't "med ed" it's just "med". So sorry he can't help after all :D
I wanna be in the room where it happens

DD - I'd love to read your book when it's finished, sounds fascinating :)

    1. School was lovely, but tiring - well, I was tired before I got there due to lots of stuff going on last night meaning I didn't get to bed until 2am :(:( ....ah well, I made it through thanks to ....

    2. my lovely TA, who was also feeling ropey, but we were a great support to each other :) and

    3. the power of coffee!!

    4. My uni tutor came in, was told lots of lovely things about me, and said lots of lovely things to me :):)

    5. I've borrowed some lovely story CDs and listened to some on the 30 minute!!! commute home - all 4.7 miles of it :( The traffic appears to be horrendous from 5pm....must leave earlier (or later, but would rather get home and have some of the evening with DD!) Note to self - stop chatting and get marking!!!

    6. Am 'ready' for tomorrow's lessons. Was planning on starting on next week's planning tonight as boy I'll be busy as a bee, but think it'll have to wait until tomorrow now.

    7. Yummy dinner and enough leftovers for 2 lunches. Hoorah!

    8. Really great chat this evening with my mentor teacher, she's really fun and has given me more support and guidance in the past 1 1/2 weeks, even with SATs going on, than my previous person did in 13 weeks!
