Ayes, yous rite there gal. But it is the words I abuse that count!

Oh, and as we no longer give our money to an investment firm to squander, our £35 investment has finally bought a £100 Premium Bond today. We put it into the online betting account and try to get a return. Interest rate for the investment was 1390% leaving around £12 for the cricket. Bring it on.

    My five pleasures today are:

Making bacon, mushroom and egg butties for DD and DH this morning. Nothing like a well-fed family.
Having a cleaning race with Ali-ok and both winning the prize of a clean home fast plus all my washing and ironing done
A sunny (if windy) day! It brightened up my home.
Beans on toast for lunch and leftovers for dinner so minimal washing up

Have a lovely week all. :):)

    Pleasures for today:

    1) Took a final carload of sacks of weeds and rubbish from the allotment to the tip. That is 48 sacks in total!

    2) Took a third carload of logs/bits of pallets/burnable stuff from the allotment to mum and dad's.

    3) Popped to Sainsburys.

    4) Re: MrN's silly fence - finally got a text. He will contact the man (at some random point in the future) then let me know. Possibly the most unctuous text I've ever received but never mind. :-/

    5) School friend came over.

    6) Made a Girl Called Jack's mushroom stroganoff for tea.

It's Monday morning here and about to head to work.

Just popping on to say to pirate Pete that I will repay you your biscuits! Had a dream and I was to give only the plain biscuits to the children in a school but I gave them the chocolate ones too from your biscuit box! No idea what that meant at all!!

    1. I wondered why I could hear diy noises, when I squinted at the time and it was nearly the afternoon.:rotfl:
    2. It was rather decadent having breakfast for lunch.:o:o
    3. I never normally read the freegle emails I receive through, but I did today, sent off an email and they were 2 mins away, we have been very lucky as we picked up a last year’s model air con unit, very handy for the animals should it get warm again.:D
    4. I planted out the geraniums and a lily that planted amongst them. And 2 hanging baskets put out, now I need some more..
    5. Just had a lovely simple chicken breast and veg, the left over is going into a casserole for tomorrow.
    6. Made the casserole up, watered the seeds and just “pottered a bit”
    7. Paid a couple of bills online, a pleasure to get out of the way.

Where is everyone, I hope they venture back soon

    1. A lie-in til 8am
    2. Washed my hair, tried various ways to make it look 'something' but difficult as it's really very short, we're talking a couple of inches on top and shorter at the back and sides  Eventually damped it down again and just scrunched it up with my fingers and it looks fine! Had complements about it from friends later
    3. Told friends about a very strange thing I did a couple of days ago which has kept me awake, I thought I was 'losing it' :o. Hugely relieved to hear all four have at some time or another done their own strange things. We laughed out loud at the silliness of it all, and I'll sleep tonight. Phew!
    4. Got home to find someone had thrown an egg at my front door . Couldn't think who in the square of 12 hourse would do such a thing, then my neighbour knocked and said she'd seen it happen by a lad who had come to play with one of the local boys. He'd actually stolen the egg from the neighbour's kitchen . The neighbour phoned the boy's mother who came and stood over him while cleaned it all off - the poor woman was mortified. He'll get his just deserts (grounded for the rest of the month) and my door is cleaner than before the egg hit it :p
    5. Watched The Bucket List, a super film which I'd seen before but was just as good the second time around.

    Sweet dreams :)

Monday evening , almost masterchef time....this master chef made sausage and meatball casserole as someone didn't shut the freezer door ( again...GRRRR! ) so popped them in the slow cooker with veggies and gravy. Served with mashed spuds, lovely.

Work was fine, 2 new staff who are nice.

    Paid :)

    Beautiful sunny day.

Nice chat with my sister on the phone.

That's my five! Have a good Monday :)

    Correcto Mundo

    Let’s get ready to Hurdle

For those who are hard of reading BoP postings, the following advice is given. This post will not be corrected, unlike some ogglevision votes of recent times. Allegedly., there was a bit of raunchiness about a milk jug or the like. Now milk should be kept in a bottle, in the fridge, and poured over sugar puffs! On that, why do those who have achieved, seem to think that they should be in some kind of council house for a penance?
Pans of hunger, softened with bacon mushroom and egg sandwiches. Now was them a squirty egg? Mushrooms again, in stroganoffs! Maghs. Aye there, the ones with chocolate on. Good job yous not BoPsie, she has nightmares! It’s in the words! Lie ins. Lazy! Well, some of you. Except Sparra, up with the chorus. As for films, see below. Buckets are for the beach

5 Now BoPise is a bit giddy on her feet at the moment. Yous see, with all that rich food BoP cooks for her, she thinks she is not going to get fed. Well, I try my best You knows when you make a decent tart pie, there is always that little extra pastry hanging around the place. So being an efficient BoP, I made some really delicious jam tarts as well. With proper jam, raspberry, with real sticky bits in them. Not that carp you get in the stale donuts from the emporiums. No, those cakes with the
4 Raffles cat, he is a charmer, fuss puss you name it. Last eve, shot up stairs, landed in toilet bowl for a drink, once rounds the bath, into the sink and starts playing with the plug. Thing is absolutely fearless. Yet, he has not gots used to cuddles yet. Stupid thing

3 Watched a Carla Bow film last night, yes KK, bits that Ms Hayworth one. And well. The Paris scene. Choking. Very good though for the time. And a young Cooper as well.

2 day for lunch is extra claw sandwich, then for tea, is more of that apple tart, ice cream.

1 You have earned more, so why do you continue to extoll to something you are not, or never was.

Aye, that’s it. Well apart from Mhags biscuits she is handing out on my behalf. Minds me of lots that, I must put, just by being here, the fear of God into peoples. But I could go on and on and on and on. Just enough to say, it is inn the words.

Lunch is waiting, and no tuna sweetcorn will be utilised, biscuits. They could go down a tea.
