My mummykins makes lovely veggie doggie biscuits sparrer,
two types: peanut butter, and a more herby, garlicky one. We love 'em too, but doggikins gets first dibs, so we don't get a look in! If you want the recipes, let me know
VJsmum - ouch! Sorry to hear you're in pain, take lots of drugs and rest as much as you can. When I slipped a disc, that was the basic advice, so I now tend to apply it to every ache and painHope it eases v. v.v. soon xx

Scrabble Night! BoPsie is going for four on the bounce!
If you do not want to know the score, look away now!
Phew, got a seven letterer. And playable in two places! And slammed down on a double word, doubled! Get in!0 -
Oops, I seem to have forgotten about the programme - I found a website that apparently checks essays for plagiarism and grammatical errors, and have been playing with it. I hope it's correct, as if so, I only have 2% plagiarism (and that's silly things like writing a common phrase like "In this essay I will discuss"). Phew! I'm nearly ready to get rid of it forever to the internet (and then tomorrow, to the high tech pigeonhole at uni!)0

Gosh, I am so intrigued. At college, our labs were done on two sides of A4, folded!

Yup, I did my degree pre-internet as well and with a daisy wheel printer to print out my dissertation. This is all a bit new-fangled and scary, I'm worried that anything that sounds remotely 'intelligent' will be plagiarised without my realising it!0

Kittikins I make dog biscuits with a tray of lambs liver, a bag of veg peelings saved in the freezer over 2/3 weeks, garlic, olive oil, eggs and plain flour. I'd love the peanut butter recipe - don't know that mutters will get them before me though, I'm a peanut butter fanatic
.

Evening all! :hello:
I'm back! :j :j :j :j Did you miss me?
DH and I had a great time in Amsterdam. Accidentally walked down the most "interesting" street there, which was eye-opening to say the least, for someone so sheltered.Visited Anne Frank's house/annexe too. Truly incredible to think that 8 people lived in the tiniest of spaces. Some visitors complained that there wasn't any space... er, surely that's the point?
Spent yesterday at Market Rasen races, watching Fair Bramble (horse). She was joint favourite and the poor thing fell at the fourth fence and frightened herself so much that she galloped around the course 5 times, without her jockey on her back. Poor thing. Luckily, she is still sound but the head lad thought that she'd frightened herself (which isn't necessarily a bad thing as she's a stroppy mare, quite literally!!).
However, my pleasures for today:
1) Back to school. Ok, so not a pleasure as I hadn't got up at 6am for over 2 weeks....
2) Lasagne for supper - made by my mum! It was great!
3) Marking done!
4) A lovely, shiny £2 coin has been added to my road tax collection.
5) Thinking about going to bed... night all!Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0
