2. rain to water all my new plants and refill the water butt
3. meeting with friends included hot cross buns, all sorts of types of mini eggs, fruit buns, chocolate cakes etc., etc. More eating than discussion!
4. Dinner with DD and family, as usual her roast dinner, beef today, was superb and the horseradish was perfectly nose fizzing
5. DGS1 arrived to show off his new car, it's very smart. He works very hard to get on in his career so he's certainly earned it.

Very tired and getting a little bit grumpy, with my small non-sleeper next to me....
Here are my pleasures for today:
1) A lie in (sort of).
2) Cleaned the village hall and put the tables away.
3) Took all the empties to the bottle bank and sons delighted in throwing them in and hearing them smash!
4) Easter egg hunt in the wood.
5) Lunch at mum and dad's and aunty and uncle from the US were there. Mum is going on holiday to Malta with them tomorrow.
6) A nice nurse at the walk in clinic who gave us more antibiotics for smaller son's 3rd infection in 6 weeks....
7) My school friend came over.
8) Might listen to the Archers just now.

Monday evening about to get dark very soon, cooler inside the house than outside!
Been a busy working bee today...holiday Monday here so busier than a usual Monday. DD2 worked too and got paid a little bit extra.....then went shopping and spent it!
I was asked if I wanted to work 3 extra shifts this week but do you know what? Nah! Said I would do one if absolutely necessary! My other main colleagues have all had 5 days off whilst I worked the main busy days so I'm looking forward to some me time.
Yesterday I was rather disappointed with my family's attitude towards Easter Sunday, what should have been a nice picnic lunch ended up with a rather hormonal me getting very upset with their attitude. I had made spicy pumpkin soup for flasks, mini Easter cupcakes and scones and all very nice but no one wanted to be there. They were all happy to eat the Easter eggs that I had bought but just didn't want to be at ye olde annual egg rolling bored out their minds but their mother insists we have to be there event.
I sent them all an email afterwards, explaining why I was sad and disappointed and they all apologised . Told them they can buy their own eggs next year...I'm done! However, I did buy myself a rather pretty wooden bunny rabbit today for half price!
Discovering that my shoe orthotics fit just perfectly inside my ugg boots.....not very pretty but certainly very comfortable!
DD2 so delighted to be clothes shopping, her favourite hobby, previously funded by me...not any moretexted my boss to say we have created a monster
There we go a few pleasures eeked out! Enjoy your Easter Monday0 -

It's really amazing man, where have you got this picture from. It is rare to see such kind of pictures. thanks0 -
Just popping by to say thank you so much for all of the good wishes. The application is taking far longer than expected and I am now panicking as need to press the button today so I am popping by but not staying very long. Got to concentrate all my efforts so am not allowing myself the luxury of MSE until done. Hope to pop in later feeling a little more relaxed.
Thanks again.:)
