    Evening everyone :hello:

Thank you SO much for all your wonderful good vibes. They've seen me through the past couple of days. I'm only able to tell you that I've been deemed a GOOD teacher by the powers that be, which is a mighty relief. I've always had good observation reports, but it's the big O that all educationalists fear.

Anyway, I have some small pleasures from the last few days:

    1) 3 x NSDs!!!! (maybe Ofsted is good for something then!)

    2) £1.80 payable from TopCashback! :j :j Duly withdrawn and put on my savings spreadsheet!

    3) DH cooked (ie took HM portions from freezer, reheated) for the last couple of nights.

    4) Back to me cooking tonight, the delights of sausages. :D

    5) So blinking tired, I'm going to bed! Night all. Fingers crossed I'm more awake tomorrow!

    Wish it was Friday today!

    Here are my pleasures:

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Bigger son OK at school.

    3) A pleasure was smaller son's doctor being very patient. I was patient too, whilst barring the door and trying to peel his hands off the door handle (smaller son's, not the doctor's!) What a palaver. By chance, he is the GP that specialises in mental health at the surgery. Well, now he has had a forcible update on dealing with asd children. He won't have to go to a course on it now! He was patient too on his lights being switched on and off a million times. :-/ Anyway, he couldn't examine smaller son so we shall see how he goes (bad tummy).

    4) We went down the town to stand behind the flood barriers. :-)

    5) Got some seed trays and compost and our allotment plans are coming along nicely.

    6) Brocolli cheese for tea with slivers of last night's gammon.

    7) Swimming with sons and brother.

    8) Watching Who Do You Think You Are and they keep playing clips of the music from my favourite film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ednWfMAEXSY

ETA - this is our nearest town (several miles away), where we went to the doctors today and bigger son's school is just a few metres away from the flooding on the far bank of the river.....

Good evening, am utterly exhausted but it has been an interesting day.

    1. My first day volunteering at the farm. Very hard work and only lasted 1/2 day but it was ok. Loved the peaceful company of sheep and cows.
    2. Lunch with DS
    3. Last day of work until week after next (half term next week).
    4. DD came to pick up some veg that I had got for her and ended up staying a while helping her brother with some graphics for his band publicity materials.
    5. DS cooked dinner, vege chilli, delicious.
    6. Long hot bath with salts and essential oil. Am very floppy and relaxed now!

    Good night.
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

    Evening

VickyA - Well done on the Ofsted visit
PK - Sounds like you had a lovely day

Thank you all for your good wishes

    Pleasures for today,
    1. Sun has been out all day and could see some of the water near the office slowly go down a bit. Friend still has water in her house but she said she can see it going down and other friend so far only has it in her garage the house has stayed dry. Also had news from another friend who is stuck in her village as all roads are closed but they are dry and safe so all good.
    2. NSD - not being able to leave the office at lunch time has its advantages
    3. Lots of lovely post today - some vouchers from a survey site and theatre tickets from Mr.T. Also got some more clubcard vouchers that wasn't expecting, some bzz points that had forgotten about credited to my account.
    4. Nice chat with SIL on phone and her and DB are enjoying their new home in a new town.
    5. Shared and enjoyed some yummy chocolate today at work they were amazed to find out it was from Lidl and only cost 49p when on offer. They all thought it was a very expensive Belgian chocolate.

Hugs to all who need them

Helo all. Having trouble thinking of 5 cos worried sick about one of the dogs. He was sick twice last night then again this morning so took him to vet. He's managed to keep a little down tonight but has terrible runs and looks downright miserable. He is a menace for eating anything and everything he shouldnt. Caught him rifling through the bin day before yesterday, absolutely shreds his bedding, coughed up a whole dead mouse while i was away. Stressed up to my eyeballs :-(

Not much to report about the day but I'll try
    1. Sleeping in til 8.15am, thank you dog
    2. A mostly dry day, even saw some yellow stuff, and one very heavy downpour which only lasted half an hour
    3. Cleaned through upstairs, the landing and stairs, and although it's not the season for they eight-legged critters I went round all the tops with the tickling stick. Just in case...
    4. Made a yummy noodle stir fry with carrot, celery, mushroom, cauliflower, leek, prawns and soy sauce
    5. The potatoes are chitting beautifully, just wish it was dry enough to plant them out. The mushrooms haven't started to show yet but I only started them 6 days ago. No patience!
5a. Cleaned the silver and brass photo frames on the sideboard and watching the tea lights make them sparkle
5b. Washed my '3-part' coat for the first time, am surprised how quickly the layers dried on hangers on the shower rail
5c :o. Reading about your days, the places we have lived near (Worcester, Brighton etc) bringing back many happy memories

Simple and enjoyable pleasures. Sweet dreams :)

eta DD keeping your dog in my thoughts, hope he's okay once he's got whatever it is out of his system x

Thanks sparrer our last dog a gsd died very suddenly of twisted gut so i am totally paranoid. They've not settled so i've just fed them a little bit of kibble and some plain yogurt as the web seems to suggest that's good. Jarvis does seem a bit brighter but his brother is such a gutsy ( though sticks to what he should eat) and jarvis doesnt like eating without his brother! And the vet suggested removing all their bedding :-(

    dundeedog get better soon.

Hurrah for Friday , slobbed out on sofa, everyone is home and is well and is fed.

    Beautiful sunrise again this morning.

Early morning free train and then oops, I genuinely forgot to tag my travel card on way home, so that was free....would have been a massive fine if I was caught.

Work....works changes are a coming that hopefully involve me in a positive way. Came home with free lasagne, a bacon and egg roll and a pesto chicken roll. Dinner sorted again :)

Pudding was rtc chocolate torte served with rtc cream. Very delicious.

    Have a lovely day :)
