    Evening

    Pleasures for today,
    1. After a restless night a bit of a lie in this morning
    2. Trip to Windsor with DD and as the trains were not running there was a bus replacement service so we got to see some of the villages we would not normally see and how they were recovering after the recent flooding.
    3. Went to the theatre to see the film of Les Mis. The theatre shows older films a couple of times a month. It was a really nice atmosphere to watch the film and made a change to the big multi-screen cinema.
    4. Got my bottom in gear when got home and got some cooking done - Chicken and ham for sandwiches, Pan of butternut squash soup (snap CCP), some mash for the freezer from some use them or lose them potatoes and some raspberry jellies. Also got dinner cooked which was quite yummy and a portion left for me tomorrow for lunch.
    5. Thinking about booking a day off for Thursday as have some annual leave I need to take. There is a play on at the theatre that I fancy seeing and if I sit in the cheap seats will only be £11.

Hugs to all who need them

Evening all. Yawning as I type.:o So tired.

    Five pleasures for Sunday:

    1. Catching up on posts on here.

    2. Have survived driving (or being stuck in traffic jam due to big rta) for over 6 hours today, at least half of which was in grotty weather. The pleasure in walking through our front door tonight was immense. :)

    3. The smell of garlic bread with DSs' supper. (I didn't have any. :A but the smell is almost as good as eating it.)

    4. Having done a big post-competition litter collection at the venue we were at today, I remembered my pedometer and I had done lots more steps than I needed to today without thinking about it but while earning brownie points for helping clear up. :)

    5. Big cup of tea, hottie and, soon to be, bed. :D

    Sweet dreams.

A late one from me also, just woken up which must mean it's time to go to bed

    1. DGD1 and her boyfriend (who is DD's husband's son/my step grandson - we have a very confused/ing family) arrived just as I was going out so off with the coat and on with the kettle. They were on their way to a koi place and were too early so thought to come here. That really was a pleasure :)
    2. A fun meeting with friends at lunchtime, 19 of us all in very high spirits for some reason.
    3. I was going to collect something advertised on freecycle but because DGD/DSGS turned up I phoned to say I'd go tomorrow. The person put it back on freecycle this time advertising it as broken for spares, so I was grateful I didn't drive the 14 miles to collect. A close shave!
    4. No lunch out today so made a pizza using some dough from the bm, the last squeeze of puree and a soft tomato, a chopped up mushroom, sausage and rasher of bacon and a sprinkling of rf cheese. Cut it into 4 generous pieces, somehow there's only one left :o
    5. Musketeers and Call The Midwife then a wee snooze.

    Sweet dreams :)
