VJsmum, What have I missed what’s in 2 weeks.:o
DH is part inventor, part electronics engineer he was taking the caravan apart before we got it home:rotfl:.. It’s going to be Christmas and New Year for the CoL’s first trip out, we used to go to a tiny 5 van site in the lake district, we stopped about 5 years ago, when the lakes seemed to become over run by a different “type” of person that was just so inconsiderate, I am hoping if the recession ever passes we will go back as they will all be off again. We found the most perfect pub for Christmas day there that I do miss. This year because of dads illness we are going to visit him early, and enjoy it early, we have stayed about the last few times for the family Christmas’s to be honest they were disappointing, people not turning up, and excuses, there are no young children anymore in fact they are all in their own relationships now, so this year instead we are going to spend Christmas and new year camping on a beautiful site in Wales, we have stayed before, it is effectively in a tidal quarry full with wildlife and walks, my apprehension is the only pub I can find that does Christmas day lunch is a bit “gastro” like, modern for us, the other place is a hotel which is far to chain like to even contemplate. I’ve rambled sorry.
1.Todays menu is stew, even though I was trying to convince OH that takeaway would be far cheaper lol.
2.Did a couple of loads washing / and drying in a gazillion decibel broken-ish dryer.
3.Moved the begonia and geraniums into the greenhouse, with a lily and oregano, I have no idea if they will survive who knows, but a better chance inside.:)
4.Just had about 5 clementines, my favourite fruit.
5. DH wants a banana and peatnut butter milkshake lol.0 -

Evening everyone.
Five pleasures for Sunday:
1. Chat with a friend on the phone.
2. Lots of sunshine despite cold temperatures so managed to get a few loads of washing (back to the sports kit again) washed and out on the line.
3. Got some essential stuff from W8rz and a free paper. Haven't had a Sunday paper for ages. Treat.
4. Sorted out the household cleaning cupboard and decanted all my bulk bicarb, citric acid, salt etc. into sensible labelled tubs so they'll be easier to get at and stay nice and dry.
5. Gave in and made easy fish fingers, beans and chips for supper.
Sweet dreams.
