Long post just disappeared.
Part of theme of being here.
Have been on phone since 8, as requested last night.
HA can't get through to Liberty.
Neither can I. trying all 12 no's country-wide. Small ring, then cut-out.
BT Faults' Sherie ditto, so puts me onto their investigation line. Hold for 20 mins only to be told by Lou that as I am not the company concerned I cannot report it. Why did her colleague put me through then? Don't know.
######
Now hanging on for HA again.
Will to live?
Only because I am obstinate.
As for ' Yellow thing has been switched off until March. Tuff.'

Work is really stress atmArgument with DS has blown out of all proportion, I don't think its unreasonable to expect new gf to go home by 11pm... anyway....

1. Have not long said Goodbye to lovely Delroy who fixes hot water things:-)and rings first to say '10 minutes' and it is so, neither 9 nor 11.
2. He knows Spits market well, lives near UAE stadium and loves Martin.
3. Delroy is the spitting image of Caiaphus, as I showed him in my JCS prog.
4. Rang HA and Liberty to let them know job done and thoroughly by Delroy.
5. Now going out - a bit of nearby hunt'n'gather and optician and rugby and no Oxford comma.
6. Turned on tap. Washed hands in warm water.
- happy samedi. Marvellous Delroy.
Sarries pipped by a point.
Today RCT face à Cardiff.

1) NSD and NPD.
2) Got most of my OU assignment written - I just need to do the last, 300 word section tomorrow. I think what I've written is pretty good, but I'm not a great judge of my own work so that probably means I've missed out something crucial. :undecided
3) Picked half a dozen chillies and the last of the French beans, both of which are now laid out to dry.
4) Chopped and froze some HG tomatoes for a taste of summer in winter.
5) Soup and pudding night tonight - my favourite! :jBack after a very long break!0 -
Playing scrabble during our cat less situation, we have managed to get so far in the game without a pitch invasion.
Shame I now need to check the rules. And in the pirate house, rules are always under the bored.
#whooooooooops there goes the ...
Round two. BoP is one down. Slightly more wobbbbbbleadse down. Coming back strong. Slashed in with surreal bingo! Well ahead.
Decider just under war. Draw thirst, nearest the ... Wooooobbbbealades on flow.
Game on!
There be only two points in this game. But my point is ...
Now beethoven is playing,a piano concerto
Beethoven ninth playing. Struggling. But just got delayed out. Fifty in front. Two tiles to play0 -
1. Warmth when I walked in.
2. w8rs cappuccino and dear little biccie. Grim month ahead, when other w8rs cafe, patronised by&on Sunday, post-Trump carboot, closes for Bigger/Better/Brighter revamp.
3. Toulon shock loss in Cardiff, but almost don't mind, given the worrying outlook for Welsh ruggers atm.
4. Some finds at odd little jumble. I particularly like the 1930 cased Motoring Tourist Sectional Map Cards 'Specially prepared for Selfridge and Co. Ltd by Geographia Ltd, 55, Fleet Street, London, EC4'. Good gilt-tooled morocco case in handsome order. Various Liberty silks. 3 good Harris tweed remnants. Now researching studio glassmakers - densely swirling, deep heavenly hues with gold inclusions and iridescence[v. difficult to achieve well]on a small, v.fine well-balanced 'planetary' pot, decent pontil.
5. Grayson Perry's Reith Lecture.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

1.A sneaky for yesterday, it was lovely having friends over, and I know it sounds daft but they are some of the only people we are just totally ourselves with, spent a lovely evening gossiping with my feet up all evening.:)
2.Today we got up at a decent time as we wanted to meander out to lidl as we were interested in one of their weekend offers and all that was there was an empty space what a waste of time.
3.We went out locally and came out of each CS with bits, an otter ornament, a brand new with all the tags still on big fluffy purple jumper. Books, a raving rabbits for wii, and squirrel candles!!!:T
4.Stopped in at the caf! for our usual cuppa and roast dinner, bearing in mind we haven’t been there for 2 months and they still remember us and our order, bless em.:o
5.Got back and let the animals out and were going nuts in the lidls box we had.
6.Ohh stopped in at the pound shop, they had 1kg of cooking bacon bits, and proper chocolate liquers which the DH has a weakness for so we stocked up:cool:
7.Stopped off at the wonderful fruit and veg stall and after a conversation with a Chinese lady when I was examining a veg a mooli, as she was buying it and advising me of what to do. It’s basically a 2ft long one of these http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daikon for a pound. She was saying to treat it as a parsnip but tastes lots better apparently. I did get a few looks of what is that.
8.I need to re write the cv this weekend and go out and get myself another job, as ideally I would like another one before the Christmas lull starts.
9.Just had a bit of my bread pudding and it’s turned out really well.0 -
Darn it, just lost a post....right, will see if I can remember my lovely pleasures
Relieved your heating has been fixed Ampersand xx
1. Last day of lectures yesterday before school placement starts on Monday!!
2. A poor uni chum was rushed in to hospital for an emergency operation on Thursday, so I went in to visit her and took her a magazine to read - thankfully she is going to be out and back to 100% by tomorrow
3. Met up with other chums for a drink and a 'debrief' (and moan about yet another thing that our group has been badly misinformed on.......*sigh*.......)
4. Bought a lady her bus ticket as she didn't have any cash and I know from bitter experience that the nearest cashpoint to the park and ride is a long walk...was glad I could pay forward some of the kindness that people have shown me recently
5. DD and I had a brilliant time at a hand-printing workshop and have a lovely 'keepsake' to, well, keep!
6. Have got my files reasonably together for school on Monday.
7. DD is in my bed......pleasure for her, hopefully will be for me too if she doesn't wriggle too much!!0
