    Afternoon all.

ampersand - hope those dratted keys turn up soon.
I always ask annoiya the goddess of things stuck in drawers when I lose keys (TP reader!).

Don't forget to rattle your drawers while doing so to attract her attention. (Non TP readers can safely ignore that!)

BoP - glad your new job is going well. :)

Skint - I had that fog yesterday evening, too. In Portsmouth it suddenly appeared out of nowhere - when I left work I needed my sunglasses but, by the time I got to the seafront less than a mile away, I needed to switch my headlights on. Deeply weird!

    1) Lovely, warm yellow stuff, at least until the fog rolled in.

    2) Last day at work this week: I'm not really enjoying my job at the moment and it was a great pleasure to know I could just walk away at the end of the day and not have to go back for a whole week.

    3) Classic message from my dear, scatty sister, who was heading off on a mini-cruise from Portsmouth to Spain with her boyfriend; less than 2 hours before the boat (or 'bo-at' as she calls it, another TP-ism ;)) was due to sail she text me to ask where the ferry left from. Call me over-organised but I tend to check these things before leaving home! :rotfl:

    4) Halloumi and salad for dinner. I just lurve halloumi!

    5) Getting home from the pub quiz without being eaten by the Things lurking in the fog, and taking off my damp clothes; you get surprisingly wet walking through fog that thick.

I'll be back later with pleasures for today, my last ones before heading off to sunny (hopefully) Devon. :D
Back after a very long break!

    1. DD came back from school saying she had the best day ever and her new school is awesome :)

    2. I have lovely photos of her in her new uniform

    3. 'My' new girls at 'my' school are lovely and very welcoming :)

    4. Had a great day, and popped in to help with Y1 as my girls were doing hockey (yuk) this afternoon! They were sooo cute and seemed to enjoy my game of "Ms Kittikins says" (rather than Simon Says) when we needed to vacate the classroom for 10 minutes :)

    5. Scrumptious lunch - not as posh as MHagster's but so much nicer than school food ever was at my schools!! :) (also very healthy, lots of salad and fruit salad, so its easy to avoid choc :) )

    6. NSD and NPD

    7. Sunshine - how could I forget it!!

    8. Lovely email from a chum who is moving to a new job.

Yay for keys! :j Please do share, ampersand - where were they hiding?

    1) Nice long lie-in this morning, blissfully - and unusually - undisturbed either by the baby upstairs or the dog next door.

    2) NSD and NPD.

    3) Downloaded a 25% off voucher for a restaurant I hope to visit over the weekend - it's the same chain as one I visited with my DPs last weekend and I've been day-dreaming about the mushrooms with tarragon and walnut pesto ever since.

    4) Gave the garden a good drink, although I'm not too concerned as a friend will be popping in over the weekend to throw water over anything that looks sorry for itself.

    5) More lovely, warm yellow stuff - long may it last!
Back after a very long break!

Aaaah, those whistling key rings....Father Christmas put one of those in my stocking last year. It never responds to a whistle, but does to a doorbell or smoke alarm!!
