Sorry computer problems this end..
Kittikins: Sorry to hear about the house stresses.
Our little animal is only a year old and he has been here since someone left him at a week old, they were able to give him diuretics to get the fluid away from his heart, but the prognosis isn’t great DH takes him back 1st thing tomorrow, scared for him:(.
1 Washed all of the camping bedding and hung out to dry, switched on the camp fridge and washed it
2. Was able to work from home, but wow tomorrow is very busy in the office and I get there very early:eek:
3. Lovely weather and going about picking the ripened tomatoes.
4. A bit of a cheat one, sat out with a cuppa enjoying the full moon last night.
5.A visit to Mr T and 2 whole chickens for a pound, so chopping it into portions. And already had chicken and fresh bread tonight.:)0 -
Mmmm Bop, definitely Skon rather than Scowne here
Lovely jam and cream
Chicken - the agents are MM and the solicitors are a firm who go by their initials. *sigh*
I have a horrible feeling I may have to go down and stage a sit-in at the solicitor (yuk)or estate agents (hmm, still yuk, but might get a cuppa there, lol) until someone does something proactive!! I used to work in law in the City and can't understand how these small country practices can be so darned shoddy! Beggars belief
Anyway, let's drag 5 pleasures out of today....
1. Sunshine
2. DDxxxxxxx
3. Horrible Histories on Youtube - DD's latest obsession!
4. Might be staying for an extra 4 days at the temp job - every penny counts!
5. A chap came in to pray this afternoon - and told me that his little girl, who came in with him last week, kept on asking if she could come in and do some colouring with me
Yay made it0 -
Kittikins- sorry to hear about your house woes. My sister is moving tomorrow and it has taken MONTHS. The buyer's solicitor noticed 3 weeks ago the mortgage was going to go through with a tiny bit of the address wrong but instead of sorting it out, just sat on that information!
VJsmum - sons went up D Falls today. :-)
Here are my pleasures for today:
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Went to mum and dad's to sort out their car insurance and helped mum put all their outgoings into a spreadsheet.
3) Took more boxes to my sister's!
4) Lots of texts from smaller son. Just 2 days to go til they come home.
5) Painted the kitchen ceiling.0 -

'Tis raining again...but has been dry yet cool all day!
Was an unpaid working woman again for a few hours today ....don't mind, I offered, it helps us get ready quicker if we all pitching and help. Lots of others in and out today too so getting to know everyone helps.
Becoming more confident with driving ....I've never really liked driving where it's unfamiliar....no probs if I know where I'm going but there are so many crazy drivers over here that it slightly terrifies me!!
Being given a canister of olive oil today, one of the owners of new place is an olive oil specialist!
Coming home and getting out in the back garden and pulling some ( read many!) weeds and de- mossing between mono blocks. It looks so much better , has been on the to do list for 4 whole weeks now...think that was about the only thing I hadn't done. Dd1 rather moaningly helped me...as it started to rain and I had told her to man up and put her hood up!! Anyway, green bin now full and out for collection tomorrow .
Going to make something beginning with mince for dinner.
Have a lovely Thursday0 -
