All smelling rather good ici ce soir.

1.nsd/npd/bgd, with hose gently trickling on last of tomatoes as we speak.

    2. Dug and cleared neighbour's front border under windows and shoved in excess clumps of my Japanese anemones which have proliferated wildly, should do same along this stretch and keep it presentable. They're good flowers. Eggs happily received:-) thankyou. Planted a silver birch and other things. Still plenty to do.

    3. Late last night as I stood in porch and bid farewell to the day, close movement caught my eye. Something small, dark, fleet along fenceline, behind peas in their pots[putting on growth at last] into raspberries, rhubarb and hiding. Reminded self to set some rattycide. But this morning neighbour called 'I think you might have a visitor.' A little dark bunny baby escaped last night. He almost had it, but through his hands it shimmied. Did a bit of out-wide sheepdoggy circling and there it was. A little black beauty, quite unconcerned and able to scuttle under my pallets. Neighbour put Mum+cage alongside fence, his side, in same area. Little fella made his way back within the hour.

    4. H/m seedy loaf again proved well in growhouse. Cheated, didn't knock back and do 2nd rise. I have to say it looks, tastes just as good. Also did a Using Up crumble, with own rhubarb+own apple zapped in h-m rosehip cordial mixed with end of jar of own strawb. jam, plus a few bits of chopped crystallised ginger, which I 'll shortly try. Suspect it'll hit the spot with a coffee.

    5. At 1548h precisely[I know, because i checked], bop switched the remote on, but not for long. Surely his interview panel have marked him down on this? In real world, very best of luck with i/v.

Tomorrow we learn which way sparrer has jumped...

McColloch - Loved your sons words and sentiments
BoP - Keeping fingers crossed for a positive result from your interview

    Pleasures for today,
    1. Idiot director in today, I was polite and think I may have got my point across regarding his rudeness.
    2. After a couple of days of feeling very hormonal seemed to get things back under control today but it was a bit of a shoes in the fridge morning.
    3. Yummy soup and cream cake at lunch time with someone from work and a friend we have in common. Nice to catch up and gave friend a chance to talk about her parents who were my neighbours for several years.
    4. Yummy beef noodle soup for dinner with some left for OH tomorrow. Also got a loaf of bread about to come out of bread maker.
    5. Lovely pink sky this evening

Hugs to all who need them

    Today's pleasures
    1. MiL went home. I know that makes me a right horrid old cow but I can't help it, I do like her a lot but she isn't always the easiest to have stay with you.
    2. Coffee with friend
    3. Me and Harry Potter cleaned and tidied half the house (bottom half)
    4. Just watched long lost family on TV
    5. FInally hung some pictures in the hall - it's only been decorated for 9 months.

Still in a foul mood, not sure why but I will get over it. Night night all
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Quick 5 for today, pole axed by hay fever.

    1) Not a bad sleep.

    2) Spent 9-3 at an autism course. Was interesting and all the other parents were nice.

    3) Popped to Sainsburys.

    4) Drove home and bigger son's school bus was in front of me and smaller son's taxi behind me! So did a lot of waving.

    5) Went to mum and dad's after tea so sons could test out their go kart on the steep hills with my brother.

    6) Catching up on the Archers now.
