    4. DD and I took parents' dog out for a walk for the first time ever! He was so good :) (he's a big dog so they've always been wary, but he was brilliant with us :) )

    5. Helped make yummy dinner, but no tidying up - hoorah!

    7. Played games with DD and my mum

    8. Hangover wasn't too bad, just a bit parched this morning after the vino last night. Thank goodness!

    9. Yesterday whilst out shopping with DD, we both bought fab items of clothing from a charity shop in the big town - hoorah! I'm getting a wardrobe of 'suitable' clothing for primary schools, i.e. no cleavage on show!!

    10. Yesterday - half price Frappuccino in S*bucks, slurp! DD tried it and loved it too!!

Thsnks all for your kind words.
    Tutus crossed kittikins
ampers i scanned around but no deserted spits so had to settle for remembering to fill up with 10p off voucher about to run out today. £2 saved
    1) went to have hair coloured and cut and was startled to find salon almost gutted. My fabby hairdreser has decided to go mobile so we have exchanged details.
    2) then trotted down town on my tod. Dd1 wanted lift back from edinburgh so dd2 drove there and back with oh overseeing. I on the other hand having enjoyed my £30 cut and colour called in the music shop for a pair of accordion cufflinks for my dad. We got talking curries as you do and was highly recommended a lamb bhuna with fried rice so treated myself (hooray for payday)
    3) then into town to buy rest of dad's birthday present. I'm doing an a-z of memories, each item being explained with a rupert bearesq couplet. He gave me my first accordion hence the cufflinks
    4) oh then met me in town for a cup of tea. The weather was mostly lovely with a heavy shower when we were in the shopping centre looking for old jamaica choccie (dad's fave so an obvs for O)
    5) then home and played ceilidh music with dd1. She's a very good violinst and i'm accordion in a celidh band.
All 26 pressies bought, 10 couplets written 16 to go. Dd2 has offered to do the wrapping and i shall take them with me wednesday. Will be lovey going through all the memories.

Back after a long absence, hello all.
    1. Lovely long local walk discovering new things about the area I live in.
    2. Time to do research on my hostas, absolute favourite plant, some have lost labels and I now think I know what they are, again. So I can buy some more at Tatton Park show...and nothing but blue pellets works for me, little and often from before the hosta shoots emerge. I've asked the growers and they say nothing else works.
    3. Walk to the shop with DS2
    4. A whole day with no actual work
    5. Rabbit seems to be recovering after fight with other rabbit, 6 stitches and £230 of vet bills :eek::eek:

All sorts of pleasures, smiles and some Crikey horrors i.e. your vet's bill, cr![ Big Welcome Back!] to which I must add Toulon's failure to carry off le bouclier de Brennus ce soir,
    http://www.varmatin.com/sports/rugby/rct

    BUT...

1....against that, an evening spent fully and fabulously, being spoilt rotten by Publican and similarly instructed staff, all at least 104 years plus jeune que moi. All lovely peeps.

    2. Day had quickly become crinkle-cut much earlier. Bus didn't come. Came back here. Went out for next one an hr later. Bus didn't come. Rant revving nicely, turned back for car, luckily in time to see bus arriving, 20 mins late. Nice driver. I know they're given ludicrous schedules. So - town, banking, Library, bus to Mr T for Grauniad. Oh dear, No Bank card. Left here on desk as Bank online had sillies earlier, had to re-register. Waiting for bus back here@13.50. Ludicrous electronic display says 'Due 21.47h.' Goodo - a bit of a wait, apparently. Next due bus is for Bury St E. I'll take it, descend @Nmkt, have lunettes adjusted, enjoy free W8rs cappuccino, glance at Other Organs in leisurely fashion, catch village bus back here. Only, sunk in Organ of Murdoch[which I will not buy] vaguely note time:1655h. Eek! Suddenly realise I don't have car! Bus services have been cut. If I run, I might make the last one@17.14. I do.

    3. During w8rs, greeted by dear J&P. 'I have your book in the car', says she. They're a great couple, early 80's, known over years via Charity and also meeting each other at auctions. I'd imposed Horatio Clare upon them a while back, but he ensnared them easily - as he so beautifully, unfailingly does. We chatted. P is not in great health. Learnt of another Must Attend stately home fête. J will give me date demain soir.

    4. As we parted, up came w8rs lass - she of the abundant hair and flashing eyes who was so upset a week or so back. 'It IS you' she said ' Isn't it? I knew it must be!' She started announcing to all and sundry what had happened, while I played Mrs Bossy again to Shush her. Just gave her more hugs and said how pleased I was that things were better again. She really is a lovely girl, explained lots. I didn't need to know, but she needed to tell. Sometimes things are this way. She insisted on making my drink and TWO biccies:-)

    5. Round the houses dawdly bus back was blissful, as yellow thing at last turned up[BUT, comme hier, not until late afternoon]. This did mean a bit of push for The Alma. Most important, bien sûr, was Vestment Change - all rouge et noir avec foulards et fanion. Further, it's Strawberry Fair in Cambridge today/tonight, so heavy traffic and heavy policing after verminous EDL presence earlier. It took eleventy-three askings for directions before a kiwi came up with sensible and correct answer. [Google print-out was completely erroneous, not for the 1st time.] Thanks to him, I was parked outside within 3/4 mins. 'This is the lady we've been waiting for,' cried publican, as he saw me enter. Luckily, he was right:-). Then, amazement. Immediate recognition of a toulonnaise, Berthine, and others, with whom the post-Twick.wait had been shared until the team came out a fortnight ago. It was mutual. More pics and 'Same time, same place, NOT same result 2014' is the Pledge - and...
Dear Readers, to your abundant relief we have closed the circle.

Yellow thing out again, soecialllllly for SPARRA and plenty of slugs crunched under the treader wheels last nite.

Disaster on Ms BoPs treader. Punctured on the way out, just like Ms BoP, and again on the way back.

5 Bin blowing bubbles this morn as Ms BoPs bike is de punctured and cat gis a whiff of the rubber solution glue, self vulcanising variant. Sorted. Now should I gets Ms Bop some new tyres?

4 Two mile trek home with her bike. Good job mine is a speed machine

3 Got a nice letter from the TV Tax collector, he is coming to visit me and Ms BoP. Should I put the kettle on for him? Still, good getting all the TV and bits you need free or on Netflix.

2 gether with Ms BoP, so I need to reconstruct her bike, again.

1 Do not impose on your oartners good nature. Because you get what ask for, does not mean you have to want it.

Hello all, just back from a mini break to London-took OH as his birthday surprise to see Green Day and they were outstanding, best live band I think I've ever seen.

    A collection of pleasures for the last few days;
    1. Relaxing on the train with my book, The Help, borrowed from the library on my bargain Nook :money:

    2. Saw a mouse sat having a snack by the roadside, to some a dirty rodent but to me a character from a Beatrix Potter story.

    3. Ian the dog's mad craziness when he realised mummy and daddy were home.

    4. Roast dinner at mums.

    5. Getting the keys to our first home in 4 days time :D:D:D
