    3. Spent the afternoon where I used to work - was quite nice to do the old drive again. Even the invigilation went well
    4. DD bought some new clothes off ebay and they look fab - there is a real "knock em dead" skirt in there that shows off her curvy figure to perfection.

DD Fantastic news about your course.

Laid in till 9 am dragged myself up, a hughe cup of tea and I did 3 washing loads all out on the line, ended up meandering around the garden, planted my tomatoe plants into big pots in the greenhouse
    Counted butterflies 15 in all.:o
Jumped out of my skin and laughed silly as a frog ribbited loudly at me from our pond.:rotfl:
Achieved little so feel guilty but took it easy.:)
We went over to friends tonight to take over a wandering ferret we were called to rescue last week who no one has claimed, as we are full to and past our limit animal wise, so we took him to the rescue and ohhed and ahhed over all their animals. I am feeling very very guilty :(but he stands a lovely chance of getting a good home.:(:(
We did something silly, we popped to Mr T and neither of us are fond of cards so we picked one out for each other gave them to each other, placed them back on the shelf and laughed, silly I know:rotfl:

VJsmum I know what you mean ;), just doing a quickie too. Oh, that sounds awful!!!!

CCP how lucky to see the fox sunbathing on the roof, they're such beautiful creatures. It annoys me when people say they're coming into our territory when in fact we've encroached on theirs (and many other wild animals). On the other hand I'm not against hunting - how confused am I?!
Skint the chocolate biscuits made me drool, I never buy them or sweets for me but just now and again I get a pang for one. It'll be gone by morning. I hope!
PK I love the story of the cards, it's probably the most OS thing I've heard for a long time. very clever! ;)

Mustn't stay up all night reading as we're hitting the town tomorrow but leaving the cards at home :(. Sweet dreams :)

Dundee - no it was the marvelous Mcculloch. See the course is working then ...fair division of labourand all that ;) I 'm doing the medication one .I like to know "why" (as in statute) I am doing something not just "how" I should be doing something.

PK - sounds like you had a lovely day , card shuffling and all

:rotfl:sending OH to go and get me some errr.... lady products at 6am - thats got to be love:D:rotfl:

    Pleasures for yesterday.

    1) Not a bad sleep. I'm sure I stay warmer on the new mattress.

    2) Did postal vote work.

    3) On the way to work, went through a cut through road which passes a golf course and some allotments. What should cross in front of my car, doing a bouncing, happy walk, but a tiny albino ferret! Goodness knows where he had escaped from.

    4) Made sausage casserole and dumplings for tea.

    5) Brother came and helped me squeeze the old mattress in the back of my car. Hope the tip accepts it and someone helps me pull it back out again!

CCP - I shall have a look in Lidl, there's one not far from where I am working later.
  • Good day yesterday, pictured the Netball Team. And the Football.

Good to see the yellow thing out so bright.

5 Good day yesterday. Good job I did not fall over otherwise I would still be getting up now.

4 Just made a fantastic cheese and marmite sandwich. The best taste with added crunch of onion. Stone chilled cheese, never ever fridged. If you fridge cheese, it is the same as lager, tasteless and like making love in a canoe.

    Now for the sour grapes

3 Ms Black is just popping out as her stockings are laddered. Not my fault, but I think Christmas may come early!

2 gether with Ms BoP tonight, so we could end up playing scrabble again. With live updates on this page.

1 The van is going round, with the same old drone. But it is not selling ice cream!

    1. lovely sunny day
    2. DS put washing out
    3. physio - haven't had any for weeks as shes been off sick ! Feel like I've been beaten up but the pleasure is that I'm sure it will benefit in the long run. Described leg pain and lots of tests - she has said its degenerative disk & nerve damage.
    4. chemist has got my repeat script ready in 24 hours just to pick up tomorrow so I have enough pills to last over bank holiday and beyond. They are always so helpful
    5. chat with my new neighbour. Previous occupant was there for 30 odd years and was I shocked to hear new people had boiler serviced next day and were told it had to be condemned and house was full of carbon monoxide. Am glad we have a cm detector
