  • Hop Friths has got over the Lego barricade to clean her new winders.
    Hugs to chicks s.
Good news, seems my up down blood sugars are back to normal. Hormones ain't, so ruffing it with the beard this morn.

5 The price of razor blades! No wanderlust I have furred bits on the chinny chin chin. Some as mich as £22 for 4. Finally ditched the expensive one, as only wet shave (not under the arms or some swimwear.) once a cheek. Got some disposables at £1.79. Pack of ten, for ten weeks. Now man groomed and readied to go.

Splashed with the surfers choice of course.

4 Stings not does it when you plonk the aftershave one, but sure pulls the current Lady Black into life.

3 Day off now, after visits to doc etc. cardiologist soon though. Jenny has got the history and spilled the beans. Looooks not good, but hey, she is kicking.

2 Got the motor to wash now, and sparkle. Lay Black sometime helps but always ends up wet. Do not nose how, but these things happen.

1 Got passport ready, Wales tomorrow. Should I take broken glass for the restives!

I see some elements if the media have forgotten things written by a certain Frederick Forsyth. He used Mr Duggan. Not news BBC!

    TV free day umpteen now.

Here are my pleasures for today so far:

    1) Sons off to school happily enough. The new boy for smaller son's unit is starting today. It seems he will be sharing smaller son's taxi. Smaller son was quite worried that he wouldn't get to sit in the front anymore but new boy was in the back. :-)

    2) Just about on top of the housework and cleaning.

    3) Went to see my aunties and uncle. Uncle is 94 and was quite well today. He said he was tired and I wondered if he was ill but no, he had got up earlier than normal to watch the Richard III thing!

    4) Had lunch at mum and dad's.

    5) Tidied up outside this afternoon (sprinkling of snow forecast) so swept up, emptied water butt, took all rubbish out etc. Oh yes, finally cleaned car out as well!

    6) Have just made a tray of fairy cakes so when sons get back just now then can have cakes, hot chocolate and watch Top Gear.
  • Good evening all !

Thanks re my "skin and blister" Bop -sounds like you have had a bit of a health MOT and have been plucked and coiffured . Is there a dab of Hi Karate on your smooth cheeks per chance ???:rotfl:No seriously , I hope you are ok??;)

Tealady - when I grow up I want to be as organised as you are with your menu plans !

Frith - I think the Richard III thing is fascinating too !

    5 for today

    1. Site visit - met new owners (lovely folk) new manager (lovely bloke, might be trying a bit too hard though) Blow me if a former client of mine wasn't there visiting his relative!Weird but ok day .

    2. The Tiny Terrier has put on some weight ..so the vet said...A fat Jack Russell looks somewhat like a stone hot water bottle on stick legs imho:rotfl:She is just about the right weight .

3.Chopped up chicken ( not one of my girls) and stir fry veg in a HM chinese marinade for tomorrow. I am out all day again so it will be quick and easy.

    4.Jacket P's for tea.

5.Time team thing tonight about the Richard III thing - hope I stay awake !

Have a good evening all !
:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A

    Evening all.

Today hasn't been a great day, even by Monday standards, but I'll try to find the positives:

    1) Mog was auditioning for FeliX-Factor from about 2.30am  but it meant he was firmly asleep by the time I left for work, so I didn't have to put up with the plaintive, "don't you love me any more?" looks when I went out.

    2) The phrase "I see what you mean", spoken by the computer repair guy at work: no, I wasn't exaggerating and my computer really is as painfully slow as I described!

    3) My nice head of department's decision to resign might be the push I need to look for a new job, as I don't get on particularly well with either of the front runners to replace him.

    4) The promised call back from my energy company never came, which might be a good thing as I'm not sure I have the energy to argue with them today anyway. :o

    5) Couldn't find the energy or enthusiasm to cook dinner so popped into W8rose on the way home to get something easy, and got some really good yellow stickies and special offers, including a pack of 'Cornish saffron buns' for 29p, which means tomorrow's breakfast is sorted out. :money:

ampersand - petition all signed - thanks very much for flagging it up. :T

katholicos - I generally like the spicy-scented candles - my current favourites are sparkling cinnamon and honey spice - but I've only started getting into them in the last 6 months or so so there's lots of fragrances I haven't even tried yet. :D

Chicken - thanks for the mention of the Time Team programme, as I hadn't spotted that: it's now book-marked for later in the evening. :)
Back after a very long break!
  • Apols &. Cannot support one issue petitions. If we are wanting to serve nature. We must serve all nature, not just those who fly, but those whom walk the Earth as beasts and those unseen who swim. The longer we insist in the diversity, meaning to diverge, go apart, the further we come from all nature. I was taught on my apprenticeship and in the services, weigh up all the options before going in. If the odds are against, ...

Chickenpox (no, oiPad did that, really) if I did Hi Karate, and got me leg over, I would be stuffed. It. The one with the surfer, Old Spice.

Just had day with tests and Lady Black.
