Ooh, loves u &. You were listening the same time as mes. Only thing is, I wave me hands round conducting as well. Good job in Sparralands, the dust cart goes along with cart horse leading it.
http://severntv.com/100/player.html Just a couple of tunes for you.
5 Doc done, wrapped, signed off and forkorski to the customer. Feel far better now. Got a pride of a roar tonight mes tinks. Tiger.
4 Just off for free cuppa at 8flowersW. Normally has samples as well. Got to be free for us at MSE.
3 Phone is nearly flat. So this could go either way, nowhere or everyone gets it.
2 Book is good, bad indifferent. But I says what, I now nose what happens in the pink room of the ladies traps and what the heck is a Blaster of one?

Evening all.
1) Bought myself a new pair of gloves in the sale - long, glittery ones which were totally different to the plain brown ones I had in mind. That's my last sale purchase for the year and, despite the difference in style, the first one that I've actually needed rather than wanted.
2) Falafel and hummous for lunch.
3) Had a chat to a nice man at my mobile phone network and negotiated a much-reduced monthly fee with more minutes, and a shiny new phone. It's amazing what you can get if you threaten to leave. :money:
4) Decided I'm not really hungry this evening so I've made a bowl of porridge with dried berries, sugar and a sploosh of double cream LO from the weekend.
5) Pub quiz tonight - or at least it will be if I can get there without coughing so much I give up en route. :undecided
VJsmum - sadly it's Reading, not Birmingham this time - we'll meet eventually, I'm sure!Back after a very long break!0 -
CCP - oh well, another nother time
Nice try ChickenDundeeDoll wrote: »sadly very dear colleague going back to Sri Lanka boo hoo)
Funny that, cos here's my 5 for today
1. I'm going to Sri Lanka
2. I'm going to Sri Lanka
3. I'm going to Sri Lanka
4. I'm going to Sri Lanka
5. I'm going to Sri Lanka
On Saturday
For work. I knew it was a possibility, but didn't really believe it. I knew it had to be quick - but that IS quick. So :j:j:j:j:j:j:j
In other news
6. Back to work but was OK (especially given the above). Had to invigilate which was a 'mare but that's me done on invigilation this time round.
7. Bacon, egg and chips for tea
8. nice drive to work with my ipod
9. The knowledge that they trust me with this Sri Lankan work. Potentially it could be really significant for my school and University - this project and others like it could literally mean sink or swim for us.
10. A kind colleague had left a little christmas gift on my desk for me.I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
My pleasures for today:
1) Sister got the day wrong so didn't pick smaller son up. So he missed the bus and I did the 60 mile round trip to drop him off. Pleasure was it didn't take long and I found it!
2) Survived session with the psych nurse. Not progressing as fast as either of us would like.
3) Went to look round another primary school. This is the one 10 miles away. Very traditional and perhaps not the most exciting school in the world but small classes (15 in years 5 and 6). They are also the only school willing to accept smaller son and the head was talking quite sensibly about how he would go about appointing someone as son's TA. Got home to find an answering machine message from another school that won't accept him because they already have someone with a statement and similar difficulties in their year 5/6 class. :-(
4) After looking round the school, went down to the river and had an egg sandwich, grapes and cherries I had packed earlier!
5) Smaller son came home from school and had 21 out of 21 for behaviour.
6) Special Services said he can have a gradual transition into main stream school (perhaps a couple of days a week at first with the rest at the unit he's in now) or perhaps his teacher could attend with him.
7) Went swimming with my brother. Only 500metres today but still a bit under the weather.
8) Windows company phoned and the surveyor is coming out on Thursday. :-)
Scary day tomorrow. CAMHS have found an expert to come and assess smaller son.... (Not sure where she was hiding!) So we will be in the health centre from 9.30 for a couple of hours and will see if she settles on a diagnosis....0 -
Hello all, 5 for today (good to focus on positive things as there's a scary work trip coming up which feels very :eek::eek::eek::eek:
- Got paid today for work done last Autumn, yay!
- Had great work session with colleague
- Found 'lost' library book, oops re 1 month fine but better than totally lost
- Sold 2 CDs and a book on Amaz0n
- Sold a load of minidisks on ebay
- took back faulty hottie to B00ts and they were very nice about it indeed.
- DS very well prepared for exam later in the week, has accepted help which is unusual and feels nice
Neither of the sales were much £££ but it's declutter and a bit of £ so I'm happy about those.0 -
My 5 for today.
1. Clean bedding.
2. Food aplenty.
3. Weather mild enough to not have the heating on today.
4. Massive jotter notepad which holds lots and lots of lists with much room for many more lists. Yay!
5. Cola and dry bread which have both been working to restore my tummy equilibrium. Bizarre as it may seem!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
NSD Challenge: October 0/140 -
I should be in bed - very tired.
Five pleasures for Tuesday:
1. Got another bagful of shredding finished.
2. House is looking tidier and tidier - the deep decluttering I'm doing is slow going but at least it's starting to show.
3. NSD.
4. Coming home to veggie sausage casserole in the slow cooker.
5. Clean sheets on the bed and about to make a hottie.
Sweet dreams

VJsmum, Sri Lanka bound :T:T:T
Oh dear what a lot of poorlies, get well now please!
mhags I don't know about you time, seems you've been rushing around like a mad thing since you got back! Maybe when you've got sorted out you'll have some time for yourself
1. from yesterday, forgot to mention that we passed the Bedford park and ride, discovered it's easy for me to get to so I might brave a trip in the Spring
2. also from yesterday, watched the Horse Hoarder. We knew of someone like that when the DC were young, a farmer's wife who thought it was the in thing to have horses, trouble is like the subject of the programme she didn't know when to stop. Sadly hers were horribly neglected and few survived. She was fined and banned for life thank goodness. Felt sorry for Clwyd Davies though, a typical recluse with love only for animals.
3. earned my first voucher of the year via a survey site. If I do as well as I did last year they should take care of the majority of C-word presents
4. DNeighbour gave me some tins and a packet of dried for my cats as hers doesn't like them. My two eat anything I put in their bowls, I think when there's competition for food they're less faddy(Pointless comment but just realised their, there and they're are all in the last sentence)
5. nsd/npd, and sunshine all morning
Sleep tight0 -
VJsmum- boy! that cleaner of yours certainly gets around;)
Have a good day all:AToo fat to be Felicity Kendal , but aim for a bit more of the good life :A0 -
Pleasures for yesterday:
1. Managed to get a decent night sleep in spite of age-related night sweats
2. DS made breakfast and we ate it together, also DD was there which was very nice.
3. DS helped immensely with the house cleaning. And chopped a few logs too!
4. Helped a friend fill the online visa form for her trip to India. Then DD printed it for her. It is nice to be able to help
5. Met DH in the early evening to go to the cinema. Saw Quartet. We loved it.
6. Shopping on the way back home, found lots of YS bargains
7. Watched the programme about the polar bears with DH and DSFinally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0
