Here are my other pleasures for today!

    1) My mum's birthday so popped down there to see her.

    2) Cold but nice and bright today.

    3) Had a good tidy round and have lit the stove.

    4) Got the Christmas tree! Sons are going to decorate it this year.

    5) Mum and dad are coming round to see the tree and sons' room on their way to clog dancing. (They don't dance, they do the music).

    6) Have been stupidly busy today doing paperwork, on the phone etc and haven't had anything to eat yet! So am looking forward to a bacon and egg sandwich shortly.

    7) ISIHAC waiting for when I go to bed.

CCP sorry about being woken by the mog's furball. Have you tried any of the cat treats that are supposed to stop them? I haven't, just wondered if they really work as my girl is always producing them

No, I haven't tried them although I think I might get some tomorrow having seen the mess on the kitchen floor when I got home this evening. :(

    1) Reset the CH so it came on early enough to give me a warm house when I woke up, which made getting up a bit more pleasant. (Or at least marginally less unpleasant. ;))

    2) Had a  moment when I realised one of my earrings had got tangled in my scarf and fallen off - then found that it had somehow ended up inside my bra! :o

    3) Received a cheque from Qu0rn for the 'try me free' offer I sent off for months ago - so long ago that I had thought I wasn't getting a payment from them.

    4) Treated myself to a cheap draught excluder to go in front of the living room door. I don't know if it will actually help, but it can't do any harm.

    5) Made some spicy tomato pasta sauce for dinner, and will dilute the LO with some stock to make lunch for tomorrow.
Back after a very long break!

    Evening

    Pleasures for today,
    1. Packed lunches all around today even though OH left for work at a stupidly early hour.
    2. Bought a new skirt (I never wear skirts) and it was cheaper than I thought when got to the checkout so pleased with that.
    3. After a chat with parents on the phone really pleased that we have decided to do a suprise visit at christmas as both sounded a bit low.
    4. Wrapped the family present for SIL and kids now all ready to be posted tomorrow. Need to get all the other parcels that need posting wrapped and to the Post Office, going to try to do it tomorrow. May go into work early to do it as its easier there to find the space for wrapping things.
    5. Managed to get some washing just about dried on the line today.

Hugs to all who need them and hope any poorlies get well now.

    1. Helped out at new job for a few hours and LOVED it :)

    2. Lovely friend's little girl pointed to me when asked "Where's Aunty Kittikins?" :) Yay, she knows me so well :):)

    3. Good to have a catch up with my chum, we don't get together often enough, always so busy, busy....

    4. exOH has paid his maintenance without needing to be chased this month!

    5. I'm very glad DD is up with my folks, she now has a nasty infection in both ears so is on anti-b's and lots and lots of rest (so I don't feel too guilty)

    6. Builder didn't come today so I didn't have to rush around like a blue-bottomed fly! But, he'd better come tomorrow!!!

    7. Scrumptious HUGE dinner at another friend's and enjoyed the banter with her three lovely kids. I'm still feeling full and glad I'm lying down in bed now!
