Mmmm bourbon biccies, I think I've got some in the kitchen and am bored, bored, bored (and avoiding housework/DIY/everything!)0

Here are my pleasures for today so far (Tuesday).
1) Sons off to school happily.
2) Phoned my aunty and uncle (92) and will be visiting them next week.
3) Tidied up and cleaned the kitchen floor.
4) Did the bottom part of a fish pie ready for tea tomorrow.
5) Went to see my dad with his birthday presents.
6) Smaller son got 21/21 for behaviour again at school :-) and was taken swimming by them.
7) Had a phone call from smaller son's solicitor - school cannot just decide they are opting out of the exclusions procedure and say they are waiting for smaller son's statement. They have to carry on with it now they have started. Solicitor is writing to them. He has written to them twice before requesting information and they have completely ignored his letters!
8) Nearly forgot! Stove going well and Holby City on later - hoorah!
Trying to have a dairy free few days to finally see off this "tummy". Don't mind the rice milk but the rest is hard going. No cheese!0 -
frith what wonderful news anout your son.

Have a lovely evening DD, enjoy the wobbleade. I resisted the bourbons but am now feeling miserable as DD is being a pain, so I may be dunking bourbons in a mug of baileys later........
Anyway.....
1. NSD
2. DD has changed her mind, and will be doing her dance show! Very pleased as she's a fantastic dancer, but I didn't want to influence her too much as I understood why she initially didn't want to do the show this time.
3. Have been asked to help out at DD's school tomorrow
4. Very dull man came to arrange for free, gratis, no money exchanging hands, loft insulation to be put in in December. It was worth nearly falling asleep whilst he bored me senseless.
5. Plasterer has called to say he'll be round next week to do the kitchen! Eeeek, have a lot to tidy up but at least it'll be done.
6. My uni application form has gone to my first choice uni and they've set me up with an applicant profile online. Fingers crossed they want to interview me sharpish!
7. The HR manager for the job I'm interviewing for on Friday has sent through a timetable for the day.......8:45am til they decide who they're going to interview (!!) at 1pm. FGS surely they will know by then, there's meetings with every man and his dog, an in-box exercise, a tour of the place etc etc. I'm stressing out but am pleased to be one of 6 people interviewing0 -
Kittikins - am LOL at the mention of the very dull man! Brace yourself if you ever want to get quotes for new window frames!0

DD - hugs- do what is right for you - it will be different to what is right for others. Some may not understand but you have to live with yourself.
