Hope everyone is well. I don't find it easy to keep up with everyone's news here so apologies if I have eaten my foot. You'll get used to me - I have no tact at all.
    my five
1 - Pressure cooked scrag of lamb stew for Mr Baggy and boys. Loved watching the kids slurp the marrow form the bones. I hate lamb so just had the veg and gravy with a doorstep and butter (and obgligatory sriracha chilli sauce) to dip.
2 - friend took boys out to get a freebee dvd to watch. Two hours kid free and a 'bribe' in the bag.
3 - Nearly managed a bath uniterupted for the first time in nearly 5 years. DT2 needed a poo though!
4 - DT2 made up a lovely song about the moon and has been adding to it all day.
5 - DT2's internal clock woke him at 5am and we had a snuggle in his bed as I wasn't (for once) off my perch tired.
Anyone know how to reset a kids internal sleeping pattern? 6am is just about passable, 5am is rude and it doesnt matter what time he goes to bed. DT1 loves his bed. So do I.

Aw thanks OT, I'm ok, have to get some pennies in at the moment, but I will have to drop everything at some point, until then I feel I am going slightly barmy as I wish I could be spending more time up there..

<<hugs>> PK. It is so hard as I know only too well from when my mum was ill.
Chicken - is it Madeira you're going? Are you going to do the sledge down the hill thing? I couldn't do it when we went as was heavily pregnant. Beautiful place though and the food is fantastic. I recommend "Espada with Banana" (its fish!)
Dundee - that is one thing I like about winter - an excuse to go to bed early.

How'd it get to be so late?

    For today

    1. Worked from home but didn't do it :o watched Downton and an episode of Bleak House instead. Bliss - the work can get done at the weekend.
    2. Me and wally the trolley walked into town so that was exercise painlessly done, saving on petrol and parking (and gym fees :p)
    3. Bought a years supply of my herbal supplements in Holland and B's penny sale.
    4. Had a load of stale sponge in kitchen so made a trifle - would have been cheaper to sling it but what the heck.
    5. Picked up the next installment of Harry Potter on audio book from the library, so I can get my housework done :D

Gotta go and juggle laundry, have a good evening all
I wanna be in the room where it happens

    Hi all,

    1. My Hairy Dieters cookbook. Wasn't very moneysaving but so far have loved every recipe we've tried (and they've not been too complex either) :D

    2. Asked for a meeting with my manager to voice some opinions. Feel better as it was all making me very angry and upset and now it's not.

    3. Drugs from the Dr mean I am getting more sleep (though that's not even what they are for) and feeling much better. In fact I didn't realise how much it was affecting me until I took the tablets and the symptoms went away.

    4. OH and SS playing table tennis on the dining table - nice bit of cheap fun.

    5. The communal lights finally fixed so it's not pitch black when you come home from work. Hate wondering if anyone is lurking in the hallways and staircases.

    6. Having had 3 no food spend days - a huge achievement for me! Even refused to buy chocolate when someone offered to go get some for me.I work far too close to Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbugs, Co-op, Aldi, M&S, Poundshop. I think food shopping has become an expensive habit.
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

    1. Managed to get the tomato canes cleared ready for garden collection
    2. Green tomatoes decorating the window sill, red ones waiting to be puree'd
    3. Did the indoors bins, put my and DNeighbour's outdoor bins/garden sacks out for tomorrow
    4. Crashed into bed at lunchtime to sleep most of the rest of the day
    5. Making myself go out tomorrow as I've booked the car in for service/MoT
    6. Watching The Pride of Britain Awards 2012 and thanking my God for what I have, and can do.

    Sweet dreams S
