When he was being completely vile (in the 2 weeks before he deigned to text "had enough"), I ran through various forms of revenge.

My favourite was to go to his house (under the guise of taking his stuff back, perhaps) and snipping a button off every one of his work shirts. :D

So he'd put his first shirt on in the morning and there would be the button missing at the collar. That would be annoying. He'd put on a second and the cuff would be flapping with no button. Then the third would be gaping open over his middle....

I was going to take some buttons from here and dot them around his house so he'd think he had found them but they wouldn't match or fit. :):):)

He even comes across as a pompous prat in his little write up!

Do people usually start looking for a new partner 6 days after leaving the last one? I mean, I've only just finished taking his photos down/out of frames etc.

Not that he actually had a single photo of me in his house....
  • Nothing useful to add other than tee hee Firth your post did make me chuckle...

Gosh, I really AM in poisonous mode ce [STRIKE]soir[/STRIKE]matin.

I've just thoroughly enjoyed Wonderland on Beauty Queens of yore and decide that skint's post reads better SANS....between helping someone unlike him

-and DD, the 49 is all TOO relevant to me; has been since I was born:rotfl:

Now Frith, time to put all of this away, revenge being a dish best served cold and winter is not quite with us yet:D. My instruction for your devoir is a good chick lit library loan of a Rosie Thomas or an Elizabeth Buchan. D'accord? But no more mr he stuff[note and copy demotion to lower case, please].

    Nighty-night all.

Hugs Frith, brings back memories of the chap I dated a few years ago and took a looooong time to get over :( He did a similar thing but his profile was still fabulous...however, I now remind myself that whilst he had a gorgeous Porsche, there was a good reason for such a big, powerful car ;)

    Anyway.........moving swiftly on!

    1. Went to Lundun for meeting with outsourcing company as part of my redundancy and have set up 2.5 days of courses, one the day before I leave employment!!

    2. A nice chap on the street handing out samples of a new drink gave me the rest of the bottle rather than pour out a second sample for me as it was sooo delish

    3. Visited podiatrist and have diagnosis of plantar fasciitis on my 'good' foot :( He suggested not doing too much walking......so not much of a pleasure, but I'm glad I saw him and have some idea now of why the good foot now feels worse than the bad one!

    4. DD and I watched Saturday's Strictly on iplayer and had fun discussing the fake tans, twirly dresses etc!

    5. The look on her face and tone of voice when DD saw me wearing socks and sandals (in my defence it was just to hang the washing out and then get my trainers from the car!!), and she said "Socks and sandals mummy.........really?!?" So funny!

    6. Between 2 chums, DD was picked up from after school club by one and taken to play at another's house whilst I was gadding about.

    7. Second pair of stylish new shoes turned up and they're comfier than the first, even though they have, shock horror, a slight heel! Will walk around on the carpet for a while longer before to check that I can walk more than a couple of paces in them before feeling crippled, but initial feedback is good!

    8. Facebo9k chatting to my chum in Texas. He 'knows' me so well and apart from us dissecting my relationship with OH, he's giving me interview/CV tips...

Hello kittikins - sorry if this is turning slightly into The Moneysavers' Arms, but I see your green light is still on, Frith so I'm sending this to tide you over until you can get to Library for your homework books.
