OT - The Eglu cube is on wheels too - we have one and its fab !, although we do have the run fixed to it and I don't move it as they are out roaming around in the garden when we are around . So sort of a chook tractor ! Yours sounds far more romantic ..

Chicken, I so agree about the football. Enjoy your time off.
It’s looking very unlikely that I will be starting the new job on Monday now as it’s nearly Friday and no paperwork, I phoned them up and they are full of excuses, I put them on the back foot by my telling them I need a day or two get it properly reviewed.
I have had 2 interview requests for next week that I didn’t want to do because of the above, but I think I am going to have to go to them just in case.
1.NSD / NPD
2.Proper doorstep fresh granary bread for sandwich.
3.Deep deep cleaning the living room, everything came out, was cleaned the room cleaned then things back in.

Had one disaster today. Had got 2 avacados to make guacomole on sunday. DD2 offered to make it but unfortunately sed fruit was not ripe enough. She didnt realise this till she'd peeled and ahem grated them  I shoved them in the fridge and looked for a recipe for cooking avocado. No recipe online so made up my own avocado and tomato soup recipe. I now know why there's no recipe online :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Thanks - just got back. I managed to speak with his assigned nurse and the physiotherapist. THe problem is that all these departments don't actually talk to each other - there is those 2, an occupational therapist, a doctor and a discharge nurse and never the twain shall meet. It isn't their individual faults just a carp system. Anyway I think the 15 year old (or at least that's what she looks) physio is on the case and I think there is a plan to relocate him to his local hospital with a view to getting him home with a full care package. He really is perfectly well apart from not being able to walk.
PK sounds like a really disorganised organisation - is it the NHS?
DD - bleurgh regarding the soup!
So for today
1. Trains were a little bit up the spout but I still managed to make all my connections
2. The above re the hospital - I think it made a difference me going, if nothing else they were impressed I'd travelled so far.
3. Kids managed fine while OH and I were both out this evening (DD is very nearly 16 so hardly abandoned)
4. Walked to station and back and game leg held up ok and meant
5 that I could eat a mahoosive slice of elderflower and lemon cake without feeling too guilty
Off to my bed soon - this train travel is tiring y'know.
Oh and OT - i would so love an afternoon like that,I wanna be in the room where it happens0
