Mhagster - I am a lurker and love to read all your posts. Sending healing vibes and support to all of you x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

mhagster - I am so sorry x I cannot imagine how you must be feeling right now. You and your lovely family are in my thoughts.

I don't think I can post any pleasures just now as it feels a bit wrong xx

Please, please keep posting your pleasures, I will need to read yours even though I might not have too many in the next few weeks.
    Keep me smiling :)
Thank you for your thoughts x

    Okay here goes

    1. My cousin making me laugh on facebook, when I said that my Man flu was real flu he said that he was pleased it had been downgraded :D
    2. Felt a bit better at odd times today - when the meds kicked in. Managed to do a bit of housework and cooked shepherds pie for tea
    3. DD had a lovely day shopping in Birmingham with her friends (and my money)
    4. More Lark rise to candleford - nearly finished the first series
    5 Finished my knitted jacket.

Love and hugs to all xx
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers tonight and every night, dear Mhags.

I had some positives but they've paled into insignificance. As Chicken said it doesn't feel right, but if it helps you then we should really post our pleasures.

Tomorrow we're going to the Trevi Fountain, I'll throw my coins in and make a wish for you all to have strength for each other. Afterwards we're going to the church of St Giovanni, I'll say one for you all there

Keep us informed when you can, or feel up to it.

    God bless
    S

Mhags - hope your Friday has been a little brighter (as much as it can when you get such news). Look after yourself.

Sparrer I glad you are having such a good holiday

I am feeling very odd today. Think I am coming down with a tummy bug :(

    1) Got a second interview :) it wasn't the best interview I have ever done but I will prepare for the next one a bit better. I am now getting cold feet because I hate starting new jobs.

    2) Left the office at 4pm as I was feeling light headed and strange

    3) Snooze when I got home

    4) Ran into Mr Dubai's friend at the station on the way to work. So we travelled down to London together and had a good chat.

    5) Its the long weekend. Yay!

    Night all.

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

Mhagster Wishing you strength and comfort. Huge hugs to you.
Your posts bring me close to my oldest friend, who has been in Australia since 1989.
Her husband is a long-term cancer survivor (some 15 years now) and the family have nothing but praise for the treatment he has received. May you all have the best outcomes too.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
