Flower - With the renting thing you're on about this is what we do with our rental houses. They move in and then as far as we're concerned it's their house to do as they wish - as long as they don't wreck it!

As long as i wasnt just imagining it :D

Now its a shame i dont live in the same area as you, mates rates and all that :rotfl:

Haha, you could have had yourself a few new tenants there, Cinny!

Tete, you must be really excited about moving in with your OH, the cottage sounds lovely. And spring is very close, really.

Dinah - at least all is not lost, even if you have to wait for a week you can still put in a higher offer. Maybe you can talk the two of them down to 3 or 4 days instead of a week.

Flower, those houses sound great. We did some DIY and redecorating in our current place. For me a house is a home so it's not atall wasted money as we have got the enjoyment out of it.

Very rational Flower but I don't feel like being rational, I don't want to be involved with that money anymore. NIM can buy a house with his dad if eh wants, or we can rent privately, but I'm not taking that money while it has strings.

Whilst I think you're right Dinah be careful that you're not cutting your nose off to spite your face! (I've never been too sure what that means but I think it's suitable!)

What is Daddy NIM's reason for waiting a week? I may have missed it but I'm all coldy today so a bit fuzzy headed!

I've put my first 2 reviews on Dooyoo and it's pretty exciting seeing the number of rates go up against them! How sad am I?! I'm also panicking that I'm going to have to rate back! Argh... too much dooyoo pressure!

I don't think I could pay any of you lot to move to Bircotes/Harworth!

Ooo Birdie, off to look at your reviews! :D

Dinah - I understand how you must be feeling but wait until you see NIM before you cut the strings on that money - maybe they have a plan or something?

Oh they have a plan. They want to drop the offer £115,000 to £100,000. Yet again it seems I have no say in this insanity.

Err... that's a bit mad since the vendor really doesn't seem too keen on £115k let alone £100k! Why do they think one more week will make them desperate, how long's it been on the market?
