Having a stress in my case

I'll take your stress and raise you a nervous breakdown!

I cannot WAIT to go home and I have to stay in this God awful place until 6! This really has been a horrid day, Awful Woman (AW) came in and asked the Other Office Woman(OOW) (who is very good albeit a bit moany of late but it is because everything keeps going wrong! Grrrr) what she could do to help, OOW rattled off a list that she had on her to do list and AW said, 'Don't take the pee' in a right sniffy voice! What does she think we do in here all day? Drink coffee and file our nails?!

Good luck with both meetings Lara! Hope it all goes well!

Oooh Dinah, a George Formby grill! I'd like one but we have no room! If we get one we'll have to get rid of the coffee machine... but we need coffee on tap!

Yey, another £20 voucher just arrived from Dooyoo. Gonna order George this time. And requested another £20 on NIMs account this morning.

I love the 'george' that OHs parents have. Definitely going to get one when we move out, i use it all the time. After christmas i think i will start saving dooyoo vouchers for moving out stuff aswell.

I already have a junior George, but he's more of a one person operation. With a bigger george we can do 2 toasties at once or whathaveyou.

STILL no news on the manhole so no offer. Have done a few rambles on Dooyoo on NIMs account though to keep me distracted.

  • Can you do toasties on a Geoerge? I thought he was more of a sausages/chops/fishfingers type man.

Phew meeting went well. Skype is good because you can do scary meeting in bed with the duvet wrapped around you and nobody knows!

Mmmmm toasties, I am definitely going to make a cheese and tomato after all this toastie talk. Feels like Friday today.

Birdie I hope AW isn't doing your head in too much. Not long to go until 6 now.

Phew, that took a long time to catch up with! Hello again :hello:

Was off for a while because boyfriend got into a strop about how "obsessed with money" and no fun I was, boo...but anyway, it's sorted and he has promised that when I start getting in a flap he will sit and discuss things with me rather than ignore me and go on about what he wants to buy. And then get upset because I'm too stressed to be coupley. Yay, being mature!

Sorry to hear about the various bad newses and awwww the baby is adorable. Think that's one of the best things about working in a kid's shoe shop - the ones coming in for their first shoes :o /broody. (I'm also 24 and have been broody since I was about 14...)

I have a DOTD for all you engaged types: http://www.fairygothmother.co.uk/newimages3/fgm-b400.jpg

NICe DOTD, I like the flatyness at the bottom, but a bit vampy for me.

Lol no, they never got back to us about the manhole, so NIM is going to call today and put an offer in, but make it clear they are not to leave a voicemail, the offer has to be made to a person. Its such a faffy process when you can't get hold of the vendors!

How efficient am I - I wrote a Dooyoo while NIM was in the shower this morning!
