Off work today, woke up with a cracking migrane. Can stand light again now but still sick and no sense of distance/depth perception. In for a fun day! Going to try to call the shop who have my engagement ring later... and thats about all for todays to do list!

Hope you feel better Dinah. Sounds like you need a day under the duvet. Hopefully you can get your engagement ring back as it has been a while.

I am just hammering STP and have been for the last 90 minutes. Only another £1.54 before the payout of £6 so I can transfer the cash through paypal!

Oooh, what a lovely proposal Pilchard! I'm not jealous at all.... ;)

My car is playing silly beggars at the moment, I'm not happy with it! When I got in it last night to drive home the power steering didn't work so I had to wrestle with it to get it home and parked (I was knackered when I got in!) so I rang the garage and booked it in for today to be fixed, got in it this morning and it's back to normal! How strange! Felt a bit stupid ringing the garage and saying, 'It's actually fixed itself now so I won't be bringing it in'!

I think I'm going to Weight Watchers tonight with my friend as I really need a kick up the bum to get back on the healthy eating band wagon which reminds me Dinah, I want to join the challenge again! I'm up to 10st10 which I'm not happy about and I want to lose a stone if not more!

Hello, hope no one minds me jumping in - I have just subscribed to this thread and read it all in one sitting :P lots of good ideas in here, now boyfriend finally has a job (only taken a year and a half, yeah, graduates get jobs easily ) will perhaps be able to start paying off debts...

I am not engaged, nor will be as we're both hoping to go back to uni next year (for 4 more years - I will have been at uni for 8 1/2 years in total when I graduate ) but LOVE wedding stuff. I buy wedding mags when I am sad because they cheer me up. I have had lots of friends that I have been able to lend them to though!! (And I get to be a chief bridesmaid next year - I can call it research now :T)

Good luck to everyone for all their various endeavours.

Better to be safe than sorry though Birdie!

My friend does Weight Watchers and she is doing really well on it, apparently at her last meeting the instructer taught them how to make sugar free vodka jelly haha.

I missed your poorly post Dinah, hope you feel better soon! I'm so glad I don't suffer migranes, they sound awful!

Hi Starla, I'm impressed by all of your wins! I gave up with comping because I never won anything, maybe I should start again!

Mmmm, see that's what is attractive about WW! My friend has been going for a while and is doing very well and she eats really nice food, you don't think you're eating 'diet' food at all, her BF doesn't even know he's eating WW meals!

I'm taking my car in next week, don't worry! The garage man was very nice (a local village type garage who don't rip you off!) and said he'd run a diagnostic on it and get 2nd hand parts to fix it if there was a problem. I need part of my exhaust replacing anyway as it looked a bit 'dodgy' when they did my MOT so I'm going to have to find some money from somewhere to pay for it all! Gah, I hate cars!
