I've only been recently actually, about 6 months ago. It was recommended by a friend but when we walked in it looked like a full on posh restaurant rather than a pub, but luckily there was a happy hour menu
I had one of those fried mozzarella balls and caramelised onion to start followed by salmon/seafood pasta, was absolutely lovely! Can't remember what Al had or whether he enjoyed it, but that's not important

That's a pretty church Dinah, looks a lot like the church in my parents village, I love old village churches, you just know that they're looked after by old dears!
And pay no attention to the horrible housing board people, I think DFW is the only nice board on here, every other board (except maybe beauty and special occasions i.e. the frivolous ones!) are up their own backsides and nasty to people asking genuine questions. Fancy them saying you're wasting time seeing a house without a mortgage in the pipeline! How can you sort out a mortgage if you don't know how much you'll need?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It was a Wednesday before half six, you might need to book as they only just squeezed us in.
I totally agree Birdie, there's such a divide on these forums! I'd always lurked on the DFW board but when I registered to post a question it was on the banking board and I couldn't believe the responses I got, it actually quite upset me! It's bullying.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

What, what have I done?!

That makes me sound like a right so-and-so. I think you must be confusing me with somebody else though if I'm honest, I think we all know I never set foot in places that sell such things.
I love the look of that Church Dinah! It's so pretty!!
I agree with your about the rest of the forum, that's why I don't go out 'there' people on the OS forum seem alright, although I remember reading one page of a thread on there and thinking I needed to stock pile on coal, tealights and tinned tomatoes.0 -
LOL Cinny! I saw how much everyone raved about Stardrops so I went out and bought some, (I got really excited when I saw it on the shelf in Home Bargains even!) and when I got it home I was like, what do I do now??? And I picked up the Mr Muscle spray and carried on cleaning with that! Hehe.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Had a bit of a manic afternoon at work and just been to Asda so only just making dinner now!
People can be a bit rude on the other boards, think people are a lot less judgemental on here.0
