Flower I am so sorry to hear about your friend, my Dad was involved in a nasty car accident a few months back (other driver, who was at fault, died) I don't think I realised until then how much this sort of thing effects so many people, not just the individuals driving. I am so nervous driving now, I cannot imagine how dad will be when he gets behind the wheel again.

It is very quiet! Im not at work today but have been sorting some Christmas bits out instead.
OH thinks we should watch Home Alone when he gets back from work tonight to get us in the Christmas spirit.

Friends brother also rang me this morning, apparently her mum wants me to say a few words at the funeral because she told her mum that i was one of the best friend she ever had. Dont know if i can, wouldnt even know what to say

Aw flower, what a difficult dilema. Its so difficult to find the right words at times like these. What I would say, is make sure if you do agree that you write down what you want to say, if it gets too much for you on the day someone can take over from you.

My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Flower, that's lovely that your friend said that to her mum. I would feel daunted about saying something at a funeral, my advice would be to keep it short and sweet and say it from the heart. Do you know when it will be yet?
