Hiya
Sorry for butting in - I've read a few of the posts, but sadly haven't had time to see all of them.
Whereabouts in the country are you? I noticed on your budget for the wedding that you had make up down as £100. I do Vie at Home, and I charge £50 for bridal make up including a trial -your local consultant may well charge about the same. Just thought that any things you can get cheaper would help.
God luck with it all - admire the determination you have shown so far!!
Hi thanks for that Nikki. I'm in Cleveland/County Durham area so a fair way from you but thats really handy. I don't know a Vie rep though, is there a website listing ones in my area?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hello! I love your paintings Dinah, they're very good and striking! If I had anywhere to put one I'd be tempted to buy, but alas we have no good wall space to put a big feature painting on! Maybe one day!
I put our Christmas tree up on Saturday so I feel all Christmassy now, maybe I might actually get some cards made this week! I've really been struggling with inspiration, I keep getting my craft stuff out, looking at it then putting it away again!
I got this in my advent house today:
I've made the mistake of finding the website of the people who made it and now I'm having a good look to see what else they do!
That's a pain about the cars Dinah. When I was looking at part ex last year I was offered peanuts for my car, it was quite insulting! I think that the problem is that with car prices dropping part ex has dropped even further.
I'm sorry about your friend Flower, it's such a shame. It's not fair that it's usually the idiots who cause the crash are the ones who survive it. There was a fatal crash near my work last Monday so I'd had to take the long back way home on winding country roads in pitch black and some idiot overtook me and the car in front on a blind corner... I was convinced there'd be another crash! It's scary how badly some people drive and how impatient they can be, I'd much rather arrive 2 minutes later and be safe than risk my neck!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Flower - that is awful what happened. Is not fair that the people who drive safely are the ones that suffer.
That is annoying about the value of the cars Dinah. I am still waiting to find out if mine is a write off or not. I have found cars for sale the same as the value i gave them, so will use that if they don't offer me much.0 -

I know its makes you sick the way some people drive. Apparently the guy who caused the crash had a 'baby on board' sticker in the back window. Whilst the baby wasnt in the car at the time, its makes me sick to think that he would not only endanger the lives of strangers but also of his own baby.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Quite often the people driving like complete lunatics are the ones with those kind of stickers, you just can't fathom it. I remember being a bit shellshocked when I first passed my test, realising that it's not me who might be dangerous and crash but everybody else and you just can't account for other drivers. It's scary. Hope you're feeling OK today Flower xxWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Hi Dinah
If you go to http://shop.vieathome.com/findconsultant.aspx you should be able to find a consultant there. Not all do Bridal, but you should be able to find one that way!!0 -
Feeling ok today thanks tete, but mainly because i have just tried not to think about it. Have been at work - they have been very good actually - and it was quite busy so just got on with it.
She was just one of those once in a life time friends, would never do bad by anyone. Havent spoken to her parents yet, but know them pretty well and know how utterly devastated they will be.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

I used to go out on Saturday nights and not drink so I could drive home (back when I lived with my parents in the middle of nowhere) but stopped because I realised that I was sober and driving sensibly but I could be killed my someone who had been drinking all night and didn't care about the drink driving law. It really is scary when you think about it. OH has a go at me sometimes because I can be a little too cautious but I'm responsible for my passengers and there's no glory in driving like an idiot to show off, I only drive a little Punto after all!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. Yeah my OH can go on a bit about women drivers being a bit slow or maybe doing something a little bit silly, or not being able to park. But when there's someone acting like a complete w**ker and driving aggressively intimidating all around them you can guarantee it's a man. Not that this has anything to do with drink driving, it just annoys me when people are aggressive in the car, it shakes me up if people beep at me or shout, you wouldn't do that to someone in the street so why do it behind the wheel? Gah.
