    Hi everyone,

Havent been around for a few days. A close friend of mine sadly passed away so i havent felt much like being on here or doing anything to be honest!

Money making has been on hold at the minute and have spent money that wasnt budgeted for on travelling to see my friends parents.
I know this will sound really bad, but at the minute after everything that has happened i really dont care about the debt and money. I am sure its just because i am in shock and i will get back into the swing of it all.

Hope everyone is ok. Have i missed much?

Sorry to hear about your friend Flower! It does put it into perspective when someone dies, bothering about saving/making money seems daft cos as they say life really is too short. It was when my dad died I started my mad spending habits, grief is a funny thing. Hope you are holding up and remember and take time out for yourself.

Thank you Swinstie, your right it really does put everything into perspective - it seems it especially does just before christmas.

I havent spent anything on my credit cards, but your right at the minute paying off my debt just seems irrelevant to me at the minute.
I have just started doing my BP again and just going to write a dooyoo review and then will redeem some vouchers, but apart from that not much else!

oh Flower I hope you are ok and I think it is quite right to put less important things on hold for a hort while. As long as you are ok and aren't making the debt any worse then I think you should just take all the time you need.
    Thinking of you xx
  • Sorry to your sad news Flower.

I haven't been a round for a while what with Ofsted. We didn't do so well we have notice to improve as they found some areas were wanting. So it has all been very stressful. They will be back in school in about six to eight months. Nothing is every good enough, no matter how hard you work it is never enough.

On the money front I have been charged £22 for going overdrawn as I haven't had the time for MSE, but now I could kick myself. I feel panic when I think about my current situation. OH's business has now been wrapped up but he can't get JSA because they say he hasn't paid enough NI but the reason for that is because he hasn't taken a wage for so long to try and make the business work. Therefore he is being penalised twice. I am thinking very hard about consolidating some, if not all of my cards. I can't stand this feeling of panic.

I am nearly up to £40 on dooyoo :) I am deffo going for the cheque towards some xmas presents / to repay my savings lol but yey! Does anyone have any suggestions about how to get more people to rate their things by the way?
Also I didn't win on BB this weekend ( boohoo!) but we went car shopping yesterday and have bought a new car!!! :D (when I say we, I mean OH has as he didnt have one) so that is a maaaajpr budget blow and we need to sort out getting it and insuring it and all of that but yey! [and i don't have to look at car websites anymore!!]!! AND it means I can see OH more because he will be able to drive down and won't have to get the train!! :D:D:D:D:D

I haven't got much uni work done this weekend though, I feel pretty bad about that and I must buckle down tonight!! did anyone see the

We also went xmas shopping last night but accidentally we only bought things for ourselves!! oops!! I got a new outfit for my interview thing on friday (I think its really nice but it is soooo not me!!- I don't do smart very well lol!) and the boy got some reduced (still expensive :( ) hollister tops so he's happy (apparantly he's bought them with the money he haggled off the price of the car) aside from that - nothing very moneysaving has been happening!

    Hi ROTE,

Hope you are okay. It does sound like you are having a very stressful time of it lately. I hope things begin to pick up for you soon

Re: the nappies. I did check this and can get £30 from my council which is great. It means a pack of 12 will only cost me about £20 and I can get Boots points as well :)

If the nappies are going well then I will buy some more, although I am hoping that the baby won't need as many nappy changes as it gets a bit older!

Really sorry to hear that Flower, it really does put thing sin persepctive I would agree. Hope you are OK. xxx

Tink - my only advise on getting rates is to make sure you rate back all the people who rate you as this seems to build up people over time. I seem to get around 60 people rate each review now which is good!

Really sorry to hear about your friend Flower. Don't worry about debt clearing for the moment, these things an wait. I take it that this was unexpected to knock you so much for six, so give yourself a while to get your head around things.

Is is the CCCA or payplan or something thats the free one? Either way, call them, now before the January rush. Don't consolidate before you speak to them as you may be able to get the interest frozen instead, which would be much better for you. Do you have any kind of insurance that pays out if you loose your income?

    What car did he get?

I subscribe to the people who seem to ALWAYS thank me, and that way I always thank them for their reviews, I have about 75 people I'm subscribed to so I rate about 100 reviews a day, I never rate someone without a picture, or a new rewiewer, they don't rate back!

Went to the fayre today, sold 7 photos! So thats one more thing crossed off my 30 before I'm 30 list, and also £30 in my pocket, plus £41 from babysitting last night.
