    Hey All

Just got back from Lancaster last night. I missed the train by 5 minutes on the way there, I *hate* hammersmith and city line. Had to pay £48 for a new single ticket

I spent the whole journey just imagining all the new clothes I could have had with that money  Sometimes London drives me mad.

Anyway had a great time at uni, met up with a friend and went to a conference, did about half my work and got the books I needed.

We called the mortgage broker and he will give us an update on Tuesday. Hopefully they will instruct the valuation then and we can get on with it! The solicitors have all their paperwork and hopefully should have started the searches. It would be amazing if we could move in at the end of Jan. Fingers crossed for mortgage!!! Looks like there may be a way around our stamp duty as well, so hopefully some good news there too.

Also I should hear whether or not my funding application for uni was successful, remember the one I was writing all summer? I think I am about to go up in a puff of smoke because of all this waiting around - so much of my life is just up in the ether at the moment. However, there is the possibility for some great Xmas presents.

Poolie - I thought I had already found you on dooyoo!!! :rotfl: whoops!

Just found a great deal on the grabbit boards girlies. TODAY ONLY. Go to https://www.asos.com, and enter the code GIFTME and checkout to get £5 off any order of £6 or more. There is lots of make up around the £6 mark, and it also works on clearance items. Make sure you hit for free delivery! Chuffed to bits I just got a cute dress in grey for only £4, great for honeymoon.

Thanks Dinah. I managed to get a Cowshed gift set to complete my Mum's Xmas present! I love the Cowshed stuff and got it for £8, which is a steal:)

Unfortunately I was using another account to order something from Cowshed for OH for Xmas & I messed up card details so it won't let me use the code again. Have emailed customer services and hopefully it can be rectified.
