  • Just whizzing by ... so sorry to hear about your friend Flower that's awful. Take some time out from debt busting til the new year. Remember though that life can be short but it's probably going to be very long for you and OH, you need to do what you can to make the best of it, so get the debt paid once you're feeling ready to face it again.

ROTE you are sounding very stressed, hope you are OK, I know what you mean about that panicky feeling :( Take care of yourself.

Dinah well done on the photo sales!! Well impressed with that - did you manange to resist the other crafty things on sale? I was gutted I missed the ASOS offer :(

Really sorry to hear about your friend Flower. Don't worry about debt clearing for the moment, these things an wait. I take it that this was unexpected to knock you so much for six, so give yourself a while to get your head around things.

Thanks. Yes she was in a car accident, the other driver was arrested for drink driving, makes me so cross  she was kept alive for a few hours by machines but they made the decision to turn them off.

Well done on selling those pictures though, you must be really pleased :D

Urgh thats awful. I can't believe anyone would get behind the wheel of a car after a drink.

I am pleased aye, its given me a bit of confidence if nothing else.

Flower, I'm so sorry about your friend - it's so tragic, especially when it could have been avoided. It reminds you how easily car accidents can happen; I was driving back to Brighton last night and I passed two car accidents within 1/2 mile of each other and I had to pull over as it freaked me out.

Don't worry about the debt for the moment, you'll get back to it soon enough, but taking care of yourself is much more important x

ROTE, sorry to hear you're having such a tough time too! Hope something positive happens soon and keep your chin up

Dinah, well done on the photo sales! That must be a really nice feeling :) We got our camera today - yay! Went for the Canon and got Currys to chuck in a load of extra bits including filter, mem card, bag, spare battery so think we got a pretty good deal. Still v expensive, so not quite deserving of a twirly Martin!

Using the crafty link posted above I just got all the bits to make my wedding invites for under £25! I've got them in a few styles so I have lots of options too, but I'm chuffed to bits with that if they turn out right. Might try making some over Christmas, will post on here for opinions if I do. Really looking forward to having a creative two weeks.

ETA: NIM has spent all night working on my website, hes such a star and its looking loads better! https://www.wroughtandadorned.co.uk if anyone wants to see it. I'm going to rewrite all the text on it tomorrow but he's got all the images sorted which is a fab start.
