Well done Poddle! I forgot to weigh in too, I haven't been doing very well though. I don't eat breakfast - I know everyone says it's the most important meal of the day, gets your metabolism going, blah blah BLAH, but I'm always just as hungry mid-morning whether I've eaten or not so I figure I save some calories this way :o

Thanks! I'm exactly the same - I think I'm designed to have elevenses :D I just had a cup of tea and some melba toast with jam to get my sugar hit. I love a bowl of porridge, or more accurately Oats So Simple with golden syrup, for breakfast (I think it's only 2 ww points) and then a banana or something at 11am... I could eat fewer calories, but I wouldn't enjoy them! I'm clearly not going to lose a stone by New Year's :rotfl:

CMD, when is it that you're due again? I'm curious to know what kind of food item your baby is equivalent to at the moment? :D

Sounds like you had a great time CMD! Glad bump is ok :)
Not sure yet ... in fact I've been thinking of starting a diary ... not sure at the minute, the cogs are whirring though!

You should definitely start a diary - even if you chat on here and Cinny's thread it gives you somewhere to write stuff down and keep track of everything. (Yes, you could use a notebook but on here is better!) :p

I'm doing rubbish at the diet. I haven't put on, but I'm no good at multitasking. I can't seem to diet and do school placement at the same time! Birdie are you doing WW? And Poddle are you doing WW too or was it someone else? I'm thinking I should definitely start counting points again cuz it does work, it's just boring. I've just bought wii fit plus so as soon as I finish placement (end of next week) I will be doing that everyday.

Am due the 19th Feb. The baby should be around 2 1/2 lbs now but I have no idea what it equates to in a food item though! I have dreadful heartburn at the moment though!

Just checked. Apparently it is the size of a chinese cabbage:

That looks big to me too!

Thats pretty big considering it still has another 3 months to do. When I was born I fit in my dads hand from the wrist to fingertips entirely, legs and everything, and weighed 4lbs, so I was nowhere near the cabbage stage! My grannie had to go to Fenwicks and buy doll clothes to dress me in as the newborn size clothes were too big!

That's what I think! It sounds very big.

How many weeks were you born at?

My friend had a baby at 34 weeks last year and she was 4.5 lbs. She was tiny.

About 32 1/2 weeks. That is really early. You were quite a good size for being so early!

Explains why I was so dinky then! Was 6 weeks before I was allowed to go home as well, had to stay in a baby bubble. But its things like that that make me want to have children sooner rather than later as its better for my blood pressure and I might be able to carry the baby closer to term.
