  • Is that why you were born early, does your mum have the same problem?

Yup, she has the same high blood pressure thing, and basically her blood pressure was so bad she was in hospital from when she was 3 1/2 months pregnant, and she had to stay in 3 weeks after i was born as well.

There's still half a cake left! I'll have to freeze some of it, you're right! The mixture makes *loads* but I can't really cut it down because you have to use a tin of pumpkin and what am I going to do with half a tin of pumpkin mush? Apparently it goes a bit funny if you freeze it and I don't really want to risk it!

    Afternoon everyone!

CMD glad you had a good holiday - all this baby talk has got me feeling all broody again. Dinah you were a tiny baby! OHs little cousin was born early and was 3lb when she was born, but she didnt have to stay in hospital that long - think they took her home after 4 or 5 days.

Birdie i love how you defend yourself against your pumpkin cake lol

Sorry about the random late cake post, my computer had a silly fit and by the time it had posted you were onto babies! You were teeny Dinah, I was a bruiser I think!

Zig, I went to *a* WW meeting and got all of the stuff but I haven't really been following it! I really need to get into it but I just can't be bothered! I want to get a few WW cookbooks so I can get some inspiration and I don't have to guesstimate how many points I'm having!

Aww CMD, glad you had a fab time. It's so exciting that your little one is due so soon! LOL at the food items thing.

Today has been pants, our big pitch got cancelled so I have spent the day undoing all the good work I did on Monday and Tuesday.

Good to hear of all the weight losees and gains. It is definitely the hardest time of the year to lose weight, in winter I love all those heavy suppers and Crimbo dinners!!!

Also I am exhausted from dooyoo, how do you ladies keep up the return rating? It takes me a whole evening to do them. I am impressed with all the new challenges, none for me in 2010, as you can see how well my £5pd is going :rotfl: I can't seem to find enough hours in the day, but also I don't 'do' that much, so I shouldn't have any excuses.

Seems like a never ending tide of personal administration is washing over me...

I know how you feel!! I spend quite a lot of my time at work trying to look busy, and yet I have so much I could be doing at home!

In my case my job only gives me about 1 days work per week so I have to fill the other 4 days with dooyoo etc!

I went to do a bank MS in the gales at lunchtime (saw a bloke fall over in them!), and then popped to Help the Aged (cheapest charity shop in town) and picked up a few basic tshirts and skirts in cotton that I can practice doing alterations on and hopefully some of them I can alter well enough to go onto my second shop (already set up in a basic sense, this one is called Remade Threads) when I'm competant and have enough stock to open it.
