  • Good evening chums, had a brilliant day at Greenwich Museum with DD & tribe, lots of interactive stuff for the children to do,then back up to the top to the park itself for our picnic by the lake, plus we didn't spend a tanner. It was a glorious day, only marred by the complete lack of any conkers to be had, obviously been stripped bare by previous children.Still there are some woods near to us in North Kent that haven't been ravaged too much so the boys will go there on Friday.
Tomorrow I have a day off from 'grannying' and am going to have a 'grown-up 'day at Bluewater with my friend .Window shopping,Lunch ,cinema followed by coffee and krispy kreme doughnuts.Us 'oldies' know how to live.
I havn't a clue what we shall be seeing yet at the movies but I'm sure we'll find something to suit.
This week is whizzing by and I havn't even thought about my essay for Uni yet, 3000 words on the Peterloo Massacre, but I still have about three weeks to get it done. Life will get back to normal next week when the children are back at school.
Off to bed to have a read now
    Night all,God bless
    JackieO xx
