    Hi Guys,
Hester - sorry about your OH job.

Thankyou for good wishes and PMs. I feeling a little brighter and have done some baking with my DS 3 help!!! We have made rice crispie cakes and buns plus a pudding to use up some old fruit. Why does my sponge rise one one day and not the next despite making it the same?

I have got the washing sorting and drying on heated airer - my best lakeland buy ever!!I have decluttered a little and feel more in control :T. Doggies have had their two walkies with reluctant kids but they ok. Its really funny as they are still on old time and have such a regimented regieme that it takes ages to shift them  so wake-up is a 5am wet nose!!

Sausages, mash, swede/ baked beans and HM onion gravy for Tea Courtesy of Kids dad!

    Have a lovely evening,
    Mollyx

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

    Hester....so sorry with that news...

Cool and windy here to-day, am just putting towels on line as they will dry sometime and be nice and soft after a good blow in the wind. Three guest beds stripped and washing done, need 2 beds remade for to-morrow night, hoping to put back the same ones if they dry quickly enough.

Happy anniversary Bargainbird, the years don't take long to roll over.

OH and I had lunch out and will have some herrings for tea with bread and butter...courtesy of my brother on his return from Cork...he also brought some kippers, which I will have to-morrow, OH not keen so may have enough to make kedgeree at a later date.

We have mice in the house....OH has set some traps and Sile and Thunder are on point duty, so no doubt problem will be solved quickly.

Kerry is spending much more of her time outside and is consequently sleeping more when inside, rather than chewing the furniture to bits.

Nothing else exciting happening at Mean Mansions, hugs to all who are in need or want one, especially to Jayne and George.

H Hester,so sorry to hear DH didnt get the job, what a shame-it's soul destroying sometimes.
Mr & Mrs Bargainbird- Happy Anniversary!

I've been a busy bee today, been shopping on the local market, got loads of stuff .This afternoon I have the oven on-a rarity for me,but I've got a lamb curry in ,and also a casserole with beef skirt. There should be enough to get some portions for the freezer and keep some for tomorrow and Thursday.DSs really enjoyed the pie I made with the last of the Econ Gastronomy daube,so I will probably do that again.
I got some nice fish too,so we're having that for tea,I know it won't be as popular with the menfolk as meat
Interested to note that there were 4 fabric stalls now on the market,I'll be spoiled for choice soon, after having nowhere to buy from-must be getting more popular again.
Right back to the grindstone.Have a good evening all and hello to any new people.x
