Oops, two more days go by without an update!
Both days were spent away from home so today has been a catch-up day. I've done the DX run this morning then did a top-up shop ahead of the main shop on Friday morning. The rest of the day has been spent working on the website.
Monday was the normal day at the football club till 4.30pm before going over to see my older two children. Started the diet then too and took a packed lunch to work with some fruit and a large bottle of flavoured water.
Tuesday - had to go down to the club again as it was the annual photocall of the team squad which meant organising the players into some sort of order and doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff. Got home last night around 7pm.
Diet's going well, I'm determined not to weigh myself any more regularly than necessary so as not to put myself under too much pressure.0 -
Diet is still going well even though it has been a busy week with the League football season beginning tomorrow... :j:beer::D:T:)
Worked down at the club all day yesterday sitting in on interviews and writing articles. Paid Sky bill yesterday (£69 including some phone calls) and put £15 of diesel in the car.
Today, did the morning DX run then went for the weekly shop (£21, cheap because I'm not buying the normal stuff) and got back home at 8.30am. Been in working on website since then although will get out the house at 2pm to collect the boys for the weekend.:D
Also put £40 of diesel in today ahead of tomorrow's first game in London.0 -
Rest of the day was pretty uneventful really though did get an hour's geocaching in tonight and ended up outside Noel Edmonds' house!:D
Very busy day ahead tomorrow. Football training from 9.30am till 11.00am then home, change and off to London for 2.00pm for the first game of the season.0 -
Not the best start to a football season I've ever known...:( . Lost 2-0 with a controversial penalty but the day was otherwise okay, had a lovely meal at the services, managed to get the boys in for free and met up with some friends I've not seen for a while.
Total spends today were £15 on tea and £3 on a programme.0 -
Sunday started with a nice lie-in not getting up till nearly 8am...:j
Cereal and bacon roll imbibed, we three amigos set about planning a geocaching trip for the late morning. Found seven out of eight while out which was a result although got soaking wet in the two rain showers we encountered...:o
The afternoon was spent in front of the cricket drying off; took boys home at 5pm then went out to the quiz in the evening. Cost £2 to enter and £7 for a round of drinks then we won £20 between three of us so almost got my money back!!
Today has been a much quieter day although have arranged an interview for later on but also spent a lot of time on programme stuff. Currently wading through more paperwork and unlikely to go very far today. Late night tomorrow as it's Carling Cup tie night tomorrow and a trip to Devon.
Stuck £20 of petrol in the car and spent £23 in Asda on shopping.
Almost forgot to mention that weighed in today for the first time and have lost half a stone. I generally always lose well in the first week though I was hoping for 4-5 pounds. It seems like the geocaching is helping a lot as its exercise without feeling like it.
I can't link to the blog here obviously but I'm allowed through my profile to do so, so if you click on the left hand box, you will see the link!0 -

Tuesday was a long day as went down to work at 10am, worked till 4pm then on down to Exeter for the match which we lost 2-0...:(
Treated myself to a breakfast at Little Chef on the way down (£10 including a drink) and met an old friend for a pint beforehand (J2O for me) costing a fiver.
Today, although didn't go to bed till 1am this morning, had to do morning DX at 7am. Came back, showered to freshen up then worked on some programme articles till I picked the boys up at 2pm. Went geocaching for a couple hours, had tea and took them back at 7pm. Now just chilling.
Added: Also paid £50 for both of them to go to cub camp in a fortnight's time.0 -
Early morning DX run done this morning before home for a shower then down to the club for work. Thursday's are press days so we normally interview one or two players plus the manager.
Worked hard on the website with five stories going up plus wrote two articles for the next programme as well. Got home tonight at 7pm and been chilling since then.
Total spends today were £15 on petrol this morning.0 -
Off to bed in a moment after a good day!
Got up and did the early morning DX run then went straight to shopping in Asda. Spent £34.94 but that included a pair of trousers at £6.00.
Wrote two articles for the website and the programme then picked the boys up after lunch. Chilled this afternoon, had tea then went up to the Bristol Balloon Fiesta for our annual visit. Saw 89 balloons take off which is a good number considering how cloudy it was even right up to take off time.
Spent £7 on parking (went to charity) and £6 on three ice creams then came home with two happy little boys. also spent £20 on petrol too.
Tomorrow is football training in the morning and a match in the afternoon.0
