Got up early as I was on the school run today. Took the boys to school and returned home to work on the website and clear some programme backlogs.
Collected them from school this afternoon, brought them home for tea and took the boys football training before returning them home this evening. No developments on the other stuff yet except to save I have an appointment with my solicitor next Wednesday morning that I hoped I'd never have to have but looks like I'll need.
Spent £7 in Asda this morning and that was it.0 -
Did the DX run this morning and got back in time to shower, ring the boys and leave for work by 8.30am. Spent the day down at the football club watching interviews, writing articles and drinking coffee but didn't get to meet the chairman as planned.
Came home and got back around 7pm and aside from putting £10 of electric on the card, £20 on diesel and £3 on lunch that was it, quite a boring day.
Have written an article ahead of time for tomorrow morning and it's the final DX run of the week plus shopping day as well. Got my BACS payment for the insurance settlement today so need to ensure I don't go too far into that.
The weekend looks hellishly busy with two games on Saturday morning, one in the afternoon and one on Sunday morning so a fair bit of time juggling going on methinks.0 -
Going to try to have an early night tonight as it's been a loooonnnnnnnnnggggggg week! Did the DX run this morning then went straight to Asda to do the weekly shop (£27) before getting back home for 8.15am...
Pretty much stayed at home for rest of morning till twins mum rang to ask for a lift back from town as she had a late invite to the school mothers day lunch. Didn't really want to do it but wasn't going to let the boys miss out on having their mum there.
Picked them up from school at 3.15pm then home for tea and we've just vegged since then till bedtime. Tomorrow is rush rush rush so quiet evening tonight.
Also spent £20 on diesel as well and the insurance company want their car back next Thursday. I've got another car sorted but will have to pay £750 next week, £250 when the excess comes through and £225 wages this month from courier work will go straight to him.0 -
The longer the day, the shorter the update, I'm afraid.
Boys won one match and lost one match this morning and my team lost 0-1 this afternoon. Spends were £10 on MacDonalds this evening and £1 on a Golden Gamble ticket.
Tomorrow is another under-10s game in the morning and a relax in the afternoon and evening!0 -
Boys won their football match 3-2 this morning - had to pop in to the local ITV studios to collect a DVD and my mate who works there has promised them a tour round the studios in the near future as a treat which was good of him.
This afternoon after lunch we just chilled out before I took them home at 5pm. Been relaxing myself since then though have been attempting to get stuff reay for work tomorrow. Week looks busy...
Monday - work at club from 9am to 3pm then visit older kids.
Tuesday - work from home then match in the evening.

Thursday - DX run early, hand courtesy car back, work at club from 9am to 5pm.
Friday - DX run early, work from home, school run.
Saturday - under 10s game in morning, relax rest of day.
Sunday - under 10s game in morning, relax rest of day.
Little bit of shopping, spent about £4 in Tesco. New Clubcard came yesterday so will be able to get into the habit of accumulating points again.0 -
Ended up working at the club from 9am to 5pm today as oldest lad was out tonight and I try to see both of them on my visits rather than go a month without seeing either of them.
Interviewed a player today and got a couple of meetings out of the way as well and even got my expenses cheque too so quite a positive day. Sadly got home, rang the boys and just as they said goodnight, informed me that their Mum had told them this morning that she had split with the boyfriend who's been coming and going lately (see my other thread for details) but that they were back together tonight.
I !!!!!!! give up where some women are concerned.:(0 -
Quiet day at home for most of yesterday except went to Asda to do some shopping (£22), buy some diesel (£15) and pay in a cheque to the bank for my expenses.
Went to the match last night and the team won 3-1 reaching the final of the County Cup. Match report loaded really quickly and it was up on the website within ten minutes of the final whistle which is almost unheard of.
Spent £2 on a hotdog at the match and that was it for spends.
Today I have an appointment with my solicitor at 10am, a fixed fee consultation regarding the boys (see my other thread) then picking them up from school at 3.15pm, tea, football training then taking them back home.0 -
Went to the solicitor this morning, news on the other thread!
Rest of day working hard on website and programme articles then picking up the boys from school and taking them to football training. Dropped them home afterwards and spent rest of the evening wrestling with my new phone that arrived today. Old Blackberry packed up earlier this week and changed suppliers and tariff at the same time receiving a new Blackberry for my troubles.0 -
It was a long old day yesterday so didn't get chance to update the diary at all. Worked down at the club yesterday from 9.30am to 3.30pm before going over to Dorset to visit DS1 and DD1. As usual, treated them to tea and had already paid for lunch so yesterday's eatings out cost a tenner.
Today did the DX run in the morning then to Asda for some food shopping (£22) , put £8 of diesel in the courtesy car then took it back to the hire agent. Picked up the new one and put £20 of diesel in that one as well..... Collected the boys from school then we've just relaxed for the rest of the day.
Tomorrow we have a match in the morning, staying in in the afternoon as team have gone way oop North and another match in the morning on Sunday!!0 -
Lovely sunny day here today and like so many others on here tonight, appear to have caught the sun for the first time this year (marks where wristwatch was etc).
Took the boys to football this morning and they won 2-0 with DS2 scoring the second goal. Coffee afterwards (free as we won) then home for lunch and we've just chilled this afternoon. The mens team were 300 miles away so I gave that a swerve as I'm going to Peterborough and Carlisle later this season anyway.
Boys off to bed in ten minutes then I'm relaxing with a cold drink of orange squash and the US Masters. Believe that today was an NSD...:T
Tomorrow is another football match in the morning and deadline day for yet another football programme for Tuesday night.0
