Hmm, well I am skinny, bordering on anorexic and I get offered the chocolates and sweets at the checkout.0
-
Not that I observe staff the way you seem to (is it a hobby?) but the last time I was in a very busy WH Smith they were pushing the chocolate to everyone. Fat, thin, young, old - no discrimination at all as far as I could tell.0
-
Called my friend who works at my local WHSmith to ask her about this so-called discrimination.
She says on certain chocs it depends on what you have purchased. They only offer the chocolate if it comes up on their till screen.
In other words, the staff do not discriminate!0 -

Is this not the offer when a promotion is offering half price chocolate with say a newspaper??
Eg, half price Cadbury's when you buy say the Telegraph.
This happens quite a bit, but the OP is talking about out of date chocs.

What if you're a person of average weight wearing a thick coat that makes you look fatter, would you still get offered the choccie?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

what if the fat person was buying a dieting magazine or book? would they be offered it then?10k in 2010 - £350.77 :beer:0

I'm off to rent myself a sumo suit tomorrow then off to Smiths for a bit of shopping
Shame pubs don't do the same to drunk people... ''You've had a few tonight... Would you like some cheap beer?"
I do know what you mean thoughIf At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00
