WH Smith Target Fat People

Spend 5 mins at WHS whatching the queue.
They offer half price & out of date chocolate & sweets only to fat people.

We have seen it done over several months.
I'd like to know if its company policy but it happens at several branches

so if your not fat they charge you full price or refuse to sell you it?

Not wrong at all - fat people make bigger targets - easier to hit.:D

yep Im from Newcastle but we have been watching the queues in Gosforth & Newcastle branches

I never get asked by my OH & her friend do - who are both over weight
first we though it was a joke but different staff over some months always offer to the fattter customers

your saying if i walk upto counter with my beer belly i can get choc cheaper and if so i knew was a reason i drink beer

on the till counter they usually have a few boxes or bags of choc/sweets - usually out of date.
They do ask the fatter customers " woudl you like some half price chocolates/sweets"
