We have had loads, ranging from some lovely little ones to horrible big uns. Actually they have all been a good bunch tonight, though I do get cross when they take too many.

I took our girls around our road & they ended up with a load each. The youngest (2 1/2) loved it this year & felt all big & grown up & would not let me hold her hand at all!

Trick or treat is fine if it's to people who know & agree to be called upon (Say if the parents ask the neighbours if it's ok) but otherwise parents shouldn't allow their kids to go knocking on strangers doors, not just because it's so dangerous, but because lots of people are terrified of kids knocking on their doors when it's dark & they live alone & it's begging

Well mine is back ....here's her stash. Enough there to give tooth rot overnight methinks. As a supportive parent I will obviously have to do something about this. ;)

Seems to be mostly all sweets this year....last year there was much more fruit.

Well in the end we had about 20 callers

I bet if I don't do anything next year I'll get loads of callers

We only had 5 in total. A group of 3 and then a group of 2. All very well mannered and sweet.

It used to be penny for the guy, so I used to give them about 20p each, but we've got more Americanised and it's trick or treat now, and think it's mostly sweeties that are handed out. I used to go to the bank and get about a fiver in 20 pences. Never used it all though.

We have all this left. The first 3 had small hands but managed to get good handfuls. :D And aww, the next too were so wee and they only took one sweetie each. I told them to take more. :)

DS and I made up sweetie bags and 29/30 went but I had spares in case I needed to make more up. Lovely costumes and all very well behaved as usual.

It's nice to hear that so many were well-mannered. It's good to know there are still some nice children around. Just a shame that some people tar them all with the same brush as the louts.

We had a lot more than I expected, all the bat biscuits went, to very pleased kids lol, even the teenagers were politley impressed. I put a sign on the door after my 2 went to bed at 7, to say no more please as kids are sleeping. (We'd run out anyway and it's only teenagers that late).
Half an hour later we got an egg thrown at the window!
