What do you give to the trick or treaters?

What do you give to the trick or treaters?

I bought loads of sweets the year before last & no kids turned up & we ate them all:o

So last year I hardly bought any & loads turned up, I ended up giving them fruit & dried fruit (my snacks) :o

:rotfl:They weren't impressed:rotfl:

Do I buy some multipack sweets & risk eating the leftovers (we are MrE & I) trying to loose weight, so don't need temptation in the house).

If so any good offers?

OR can anyone think of anything clever?

I did think of cupcakes - but parents might not want children eating things cooked by strangers & if the kids don't come, we really will polish those off:o:rotfl:

  • Why don't you buy a multipack or so, then take any leftovers into work/send to OHs office - treats are usually very much appreciated with a 10am cuppa!

I think kids might turn their noses up at small toffees.

I wondered if I could get away with fun sized bars.

Some form of chocolate, and keep it in the fridge afterwards. Then it will be too hard to eat straight away (particularly if you get something with caramel) so you'll have to remember to get it out a bit before you want to eat it, and it will limit your snacking

I used to work in a contact centre with 1000+ employees and the day after halloween was always looked forward to cos you knew there would be lots of goodies brought in and left in common lounge that were left over from Halloween trick or treating, or parties! :D

Turn the lights out on the front of the house and hope they go away!
