    Evening,
    Hi All,

Very good day today. Woke up feeling very positive. Got loads done at work and horrid boss was off so nice atmosphere too. Took HM food in with me, didn't eat a load of rubbish. Made a list for tomorrow (day off ) to get a few bits done. Watched good telly and spoke to mum on phone. All is well. Hugs X

I demand to know who you are and what Spanish patio you have buried DG under.

;) But I wouldn't mind the recipe, please, thank you. :D
  • Evening all,

Hope all are well, Carp news about your bike, Celyn! Hi to all the newbies. Haribo, I'm so glad I didn't have to chuck you out into the rain yesterday! ;) Not much to report today, had a rotten day at work, have had a headache all day, and only OS was sorting out the laundry before I went. Tomorrow will be baking for home and work in the morning, and off to get a new WM to replace my poor dead one!

Jayne, George and Pixel, hope you're all getting well acquainted!

Hugs as usual, whether you think you need them or not. I will be having a wee shot of every single hug you're all offering today (will share them with you though Celyn, you probably need them as much as me).

    Night night.

    Jackie.

ETA I'm sorry I've just reread that and it sounds really moany :o

Not had much time over the weekend but my visitor is leaving in the morning and I will miss him, he is a very pleasant guest and we enjoy his company...but he plans on coming next year.

OH very down at present, not sure what is the matter, no doubt it will all come pouring out at some stage and then we can sort it out!

Welcome back SunnyGirl, you were missed.

Welcome 2cats1kid, you will like it here....just take time to establish who the loonies are and avoid them!

Celyn...sorry to hear about your bike.

    Hester....positive vibes for OH

    Jayne, George and Pixel....hugs.

    Molly....hugs.

Dinner to-day was roast chicken, baked spuds, baked squash, roast onions, creamed leeks....we were good and didn't have a pudding.

Hugs to everyone in need or want, sorry if I have left anyone out

  • Good evening chums ,
what a beautiful day it was today the sun was really warmand it doesn't seem possible its almost November.I went with DD and four boys to Dover Castle and we had a great time I have an English Heritage membership so it cost nothing for us all to get in as my DD was waived through as my carer as I have a mobility problem and have to use a stick to get around.
The boys loved it, and there was a craft tent so we all made masks and did lots of glueing and sticking of bits.We took a picnic and drinks and altogether the whole day for two adults and four boys came to a fiver for rolls and fillings and some fruit, very OS and moneysaving.
Tomorrow we are of to Greenwich Park for the day,we will take the children into the Museum (free) and then up to the top of the park to gather some conkers(my stick will come in useful there)I grew up in Blackheath so know the area very well.
It looks as though it will be another fine day so we will probably take one of the boys footballs so they can have a kick around .

Wednesday I have the day off from being a Grandma as I will be meeting my friend at Bluewater for lunch, then off to the cinema. We split a ticket between us as I have a Cinema Exhibitors card so only have to pay for one seat.a nice Krispy Kreme and coffee afterwards will round off the day nicely.
Well I'm off to the land of Nod now hopefully, I will just finish off my book about Richard the third with luck tonight, only got about 20 pages left to read.
    have a peaceful night everyone
    take care
