    Morning all:hello:

Looks like a nice day here too.

Shopping day today and I'm having a bit of a stock up. First off to the building society to get my funds, then off to Waitrose to shop. Must call at the farmshop for a sack of spuds too.

Later I need to strip my chicken carcase and make stock. There's laundry to do and get dry.

    Breakfast is toast and granola
Lunch will be bean salad (home sprouted bean sprouts, frozen cooked chickpeas and borlotti beans, sweetcorn, onion and dressing) and bread. OH has it in his packed lunch too.
Supper will be smoked mackerel, baked spuds and coleslaw/sweetcorn. We'll have the leftover roast chicken tomorrow.

    Morning all,

A bright beautiful day here, 1st load is in the wm, 2 more to go in, will get it all on the line today.

Yesterday OH and I tackled the shed _pale_ not only was it full of junk, but also evidence of mices , anyway we got rid of another car load to the tip, and all thats left in there are things we want to take with us.

Its our half term this week, so dd and I will do her bedroom today (once she's up ), and de clutter, I am determined not to take stuff with us that we do not need.

Yesterday i made some millies cookies, and some banana, walnut and choc chip cakes, which should keep us going for the week.

Today will be a quick tidy round, washing out, shopping to do, and then dd's bedroom.

N9eav, hope all goes well today xx

Hester, fingers crossed for OH xx

Dinner tonight will be the left over roast lamb and roasties from yesterday with butternut squash and sprouts.

OK need tea and toast, have good days all,

    Morning all

Hope everyone's had a lovely weekend. I've been very busy with yet more packing and the obvious misunderstandings with DH as to what can be packed - i.e everything that has already been packed - and what can't be packed i.e everything I haven't yet packed  He seems to think we can cope for the next 4 days without crockery or cutlery and also I apparantly don't need to have a skirt and trousers in my wardrobe... I know - the sheer extravagance of me :p

DSD is 14 today! Can't believe it. She was 8 when DH and I got together how time flies. We just gave her some money in a card as she couldn't name a single thing that she actually wanted. Is it just me or does anyone else find it sad that kids today have got so much stuff that they don't really look forward to birthdays or Christmas any more? I'm 29 and I can't wait for Christmas :rotfl:

Not much on the OS front today as will be spending most of the day pretending to work (ahem) and running around after solicitors etc. We're having sausage and mash for tea tonight I think with some cauli cheese I'd prepared and frozen a little while back. Hopefully I won't have anything left in the freezer by Thursday when we move!

Have a lovely day all xx

    Good morning :hello:

Nice and sunny here atm :j

We're going to look at a possible Motability car this morning, it's a Mazda 5. It's bigger than we've had before, but DH needs one with a higher roof now so he can raise the driving seat more.

Not really much else going on here today apart from hoovering, and some washing up as i have some things which can't go in the DW.

    sorry, mind's gone blank :rolleyes::o

(((HUGS))) to all in need, especially N9eav today, and of course Cranky and George.

    Morning all.

Didn't manage to get much sleep again in the end, as DD2 was up early and her idea of quiet isn't quite what anyone else'sidea is

She did make me a lovely cup of tea though.

It's school holidays here, but I've planned a bit of work for DDs. They're going to search out some information on Frederick Douglas to end our black history month project. They've really shown an interest in the slave trade, and how differently people were treated back then.

I'm walking at rather a slow pace today, as my back pain has flared up, so we won't be going out anywhere. I ordered the complete Planet Earth series from Amazon though, which came on Saturday, so we can watch some of that :j

I need to make up some yoghurt at some point today, as the girls are nearly out, and I've got a peri peri chicken to go in the slow cooker. Apart from that, nothing much going on.

Hope the funeral goes ok N9eav

    Happy Birthday Mr RavyLesley

Hugs to all who need them.
