  • Oh, I forgot, I went to the PO and posted ebay package, so guess that counts as decluttering! Went to the library (have just discovered she didn't give me all the books that came in for me! Grr) and the chemist too. So I've acheived something that needed doing, hurrah! Hopefully will sleep better tonight, I ran out of tummy meds on Sunday and my tummy has been letting me know about it, especially when I lie down so my sleep has been quite disturbed. Tomorrow night will definitely be better.

    Night everyone, sweet dreams

no flying today but I've achieved a lot - met repair men at flat and all repairs now done and dusted; spent some time with elderly rellie who's unwell, dsis took me to my medical appointment and on the way back we stopped at a charity shop where I bought a sofa and kitchen table, totally unplanned but I'm really pleased with them. Since I came home I've eaten, made a couple of calls, assembled a load of boxes, and packed 3 boxes of books, and cleared some space for stacking boxes so now can really make progress with packing :j

I'm out tomorrow, thurs and friday for at least part of each day so will only be S&S'ing and absolute essentials here, will get a some jobs done at the flat and more packing when I get home tomorrow evening.
no chance of catching up so I'll just send thsmiley_huggroup.gif to all who need one

tis aunt - 'ooh shall I come early in the middle of the night JUST when YOU thought I was cutting down on the visits especially as ALL YOUR LIFE I NEVER EVER CAME EARLY and now muhahahah you have to carry around two kinds of tablets and a multitude of expensive items to deal with me ALL the time because you never know muhahahaha'- Flo

and yeah I'm going to go to the docs
    Doc 'What's the problem Valli?'
    Valli 'Me bits hurt!'
    forget it!

and this from a woman whose doc 'kindly 'offered to do a post natal 'while you're here' and then we had a fairly heated discussion about whether or not I had an infection while he was down the business end...
in fact I've had an awful lot of discussions with a number of medical staff none of whom were looking me in the face at the time.
No wonder Piggers gets anti them - mine were all quite jolly in a way...
and unless I get dementia I am NEVER going to forget bracing myself for the cold metal thing the nurse had run under a very HOT tap before the smear...I shot up that couch so hard I almost hit the wall, wailing 'I was braced for COLD STEEL'

I can hardly get on/off drive due to burly workmen - gas will be off Thursday so it looks like I will be looking for Pizza Hut vouchers for then - two birds;)
And sitting is becoming *cof* less stressful;)

valli - if you don't want to talk to your GP call NHS direct if its all too much. The pain doesn't sound good. I was going to write more but I'll PM you... :p
  • If we're swapping embarassing smear stories Valli, I remember, after a 6 month stint at the gym, the practice nurse was looking where you need to for a smear and came out with the gem
"Have you been exercising, I can tell!" - What the hell did she see, a pole vaulter!! Embarassed or what!

To get back to flying, chucked out 29 mags and 17 newspapers from the office and discovered 14 books at the bottom of the rack and lugged em to the recycling compactor - see I can fly when I'm at work when I put my mind to it.
    I'd rather be watching CSI!
